Fits Hunter Groveland #54126 perfectly!

The globe on my 2009 model #54126 Hunter Groveland 60” ceiling fan finally broke when changing bulbs. Hunter “support” told me that no globe replacement was available and said it would be best to “look on Google or replacement parts.com for a new one”. No such thing exists using a part numbers from 2009. Great customer service…regardless, this light kit mounted perfectly and no modifications were needed to install. Do your homework before you replace a perfectly good ceiling fan!

The light is attractive and works well with my Hunter fan. However, the threaded rod that it came with was too short for the globe to fit/attach. I needed to disassemble the previous fluorescent light fixture and use its threaded rod to enable installing the globe. This is the only reason for giving it 4 stars.

We are renovating our home, the prior ceiling fan shade was not to our taste and this one was just right. I liked that it gave you three color finishes for attaching the shade.

Wrong color

- The image on the product shows a stainless chain. The product received has a black chain which does not match.

It was great but it didn’t fit my light. The chain holes didn’t line up & the bowl was just big enough that it didn’t fit. I liked the white shade. I was trying to replace an amber shade.

Light kit electrical connection did not match connector on existing Hunter fan. How can I get the correct one?!?

Easy to replace on existing Hunter fan. Had multiple connector options which helped as my fan is older but it fit perfectly.

I like all the retrofit options, but I still had to make modifications to mine to get it to fit. I wish there was a color option for the pull chain, but it’s pretty much just black. The biggest issue is the routing of the fan pull chain, it’s too tight. I had to just bypass it and hang it off the side if the glass shade which is not the best look, but it’s a better option than pulling the chain out from too much force, which did happen.

These will not work on a older hunter ceiling fan. Light adapter is too small or narrow. I had to return them.

The 3 lights are bright enough to light up the area. The installation was time consuming because the screws that hold the light to the ceiling fan didn't hold it securely. It caused the whole fan to shake. We had to replace with metal screws and nuts so the fan to fix the wobble. The included "nuts" seemed to be made of plastic, not metal.

It shows for 2 chains which I needed but only had one. Disappointed

The installation instructions were very spotty, and I mean VERY spotty. You really needed to be somewhat knowledgeable of installing electrical devices to be able to complete the project. It doesn't sound complicated installing a ceiling fan light. But when the instructional text does not match the pictures and they aren't enough correct pictures, it makes a simple project that much more difficult. Once completed, the light works perfectly.

Perfect! Took maybe 30 minutes to install the light fixture into the fan and was exactly what I wanted which was a globe light. Love that it gave me all three color choices if I ever want to swap to the brown or black.

Runs silently, works perfect after 4 years

I got this hunter fan with the light kit in white and it is perfect for my reading nook off the kitchen. The 3 fan speeds are all totally quiet and I haven't needed to replace any of the small-base candlelabra bulbs since installing. It's elegant looking and good quality, with white fan blades that reverse to a light/medium wood tone. An electrician installed it in less than half hour. Highly recommend this brand. Heavy duty pull chains that hold up better than my other fans.
