The screws show on the top edge….looks unfinished

I purchased three of these fans. They are very nice, but one of the globes has a flaw that creates a dark area that makes it look like there’s debris inside the globe when the light is turned on. I’m not happy about that.

Not happy - disappointed

I just had the fan installed and noticed in the evening the light stays on dim and I cannot get to turn off. I’ve tried everything as shown in the instructions. It Is in my guest room and it will be annoying as like a night light right over the bed.

Doesn’t look like a quality fan

I thought as this was a Hunter fan it would be a quality fan so I ordered online. Looks rather cheap and the screws are not even covered at the top which has a really poor appearance on a 8 ft ceiling as very visible. It’s unfortunate that a molding piece does not come with the fan. Even the electrician commented on that and how poor it looks without some type of cap or cover,at the top. The remote is also the cheapest looking remote I have ever seen. I regret not going into the store first to view as I would not have purchased. Disappointing.

Love the style and the features

I bought mine (in nickel finish) about 15 months ago when I moved into a rental that was pre-wired in the 2nd bedroom. I absolutely love it, the look, the quietness even when the speed is at its fastest. I had an electrician friend install mine, so I could use it with confidence.

Sleek and quiet

First, Builders.com was very easy to order online. The Hunter minimus fans were in stock. They were delivered as promised.

Not recommended

Bought this ceiling fan/light a couple of months ago at Lowe’s. I do not recommend it. The fan hums. What’s ironic is that I’ve purchased and installed fans for years and was always impressed with the quiet operation of Hunter fans. The light that came with it is dim at its highest setting, dissatisfied. The collar nearest the ceiling looks tacky, screws are obvious and the channel for attaching/hanging the unit is too obvious. I do not recommend this fan.

Do not buy this fan

After paying an electrician to install this fan, the remote control receiver malfunctioned. After contacting Hunter, they offered to send a replacement fan but it is on me to pay an electrician a second time. If you are not comfortable installing fans yourself, I would avoid this fan as you may have to pay to have the fan installed more than once.

Good for only 3 years

This lasted almost exactly 3 years...the warranty is for only 3 years. I had some problems with the fan that support was able to solve during the 3 years but I'm now sitting here in the dark. The light and fan completely broke just after the warranty expired.

hums

Installed by an electrician, this fan has had a low hum ever since its been installed. Tried calling the company and they couldn't troubleshoot either. I like everything else about it but am looking for a replacement fan as the low hum drives me insane

Faulty fans and shameful service.

The item and the after purchase service has been the worst retail experience I have ever had, and I'm a senior citizen. Neither fan worked. The first one had faulty wiring, split and broken and the second had a defective motor. My electrician rewired the first one as I needed to have it installed. But the second one has a defective motor and cannot be repaired by my electrician. I am on the road for several weeks but I will be returning the second when when I get home and filing a formal complaint with the expectation of being compensated for the wasted hours my electrician spent trying to salvage these faulty fans. The delivery that was arranged through Purolator was shameful. I was standing by my door waiting for the delivery when I received notice that nobody was home - TWICE!!! I finally had have them sent to the depot where I had to pick them up. I wasted 3 full days trying to get them delivered!!!! Will not purchase on line from Rona again. My formal complaint will include the details omitted from this short review. And I was going to submit the pictures but it seems this feature is turned.

Minimus, Great Upgrade!

Love this little fan! Very Powerful! Very quiet! Designed for easy install! Install directions were very easy to follow. I especially liked how the hardware bags were coded for each step of the install process. We chose to use single switch and remote for control. Only quirk is that the Fan is white, the wall switch is white, but the remote is black. Seriously a wonderful fan!

Very quiet ceiling fan and moves a good amount of air for a smaller room (250 sq). Looks great and very modern with the silver look. Easy to install and great instructions which is a +. Would buy again.

Buy this fan if lighting is not important

Buy this fan for the air it will move; not the light. It is very dim. Also, reports of wobble are correct. Had to experiment with coins taped to the blades to fix that. Lastly, despite instructions showing details for a dual switch installation- the light will only work off the remote.

Love them!

I purchased two for my sunroom after a tenant broke one of my other ceiling fans. They look wonderful, work well, and are nice and quiet. Thrilled with my purchase.

Do not buy this fan

The hunter fan was installed professionally and was immediately shown as being defective. The fan rotor was seriousy out of round resulting in an unaceptable wobble. It was so bad that even at low and medium speed it looked like it would snap and fall off. Super dissapointed with the quality of this product especially after paying $280 plus the cost of having it installed.
