It is beautiful to look at, but the fan and light control has been made far more complicated than it should be to simply run a fan and light when you want to. Like everything these days, you have to take it in steps each time to achieve the action you wanted. On top of that, the light won't work unless the fan circuit is on. You no longer have separate circuit wall switches for fan and light. You will have a useless, leftover circuit if you previously had a ceiling fan/light combination that the fan and light had/have their own switch on the wall. Then, everytime you turn it off, you'll have to go through all the motions again to get back to where you had it previously.

Don’t buy for HomeKit

If you’re buying because of HomeKit integration skip it, it disconnects randomly numerous times a day. Otherwise it works well when using the remote. Was willing to pay the premium for a fan in order to run automations, the few times it is connected it’s great, but usually isn’t. There’s no way to force firmware check either. Static IP doesn’t fix it.

Excellent fan, remote is difficult to get use to.

The fan operates quietly, but the blades had to be balanced due to being on a gently sloped ceiling. I love that it has multiple s peeds and the li ght dims or brightens. The remote control is taking a longer time getting used to but we are adjusting nicely.

Angies List installation is worthless

I ordered this ceiling fan , and paid to have it installed over a month ago. Angie's list is supposed to set up the installation. They keep scheduling the installation for a time when no-one is home. Every time I reschedule it, the installer cancels and sets up another time no-one will be home. It is still sitting on the floor and the installer wants me to pay him an additional $150.

I like, but it hesitates to start

The fan looks great and I like that it works with Apple HomeKit. However, every time I try to start the fan, it hesitates and can't decide which direction to spin. It eventually starts rotating, but is takes a bit. This happens with both fans of this style, but not my other Hunter fans, which leads me to believe it's a software issue.

Wonderful fan!

Our previous Hunter was about 15 years old. This one is quiet and provides a cooling breeze for the entire room.

Fantastic fan, if you're patient during install...

We have two of these fans and absolutely love them. That said, setting up the "SimpleConnect" was anything but simple. Out-of-the-box, both units required an automatic firmware upgrade... which you cannot trigger manually. We spent hours with both of them initially connecting and then not responding. In BOTH cases, we had to wait 24 hours and the units were able to be setup again with no issues. Once they're successfully added to HomeKit for the first time, they check for automatic firmware updates... but they don't tell you that. And so they stopped responding over and over again - prompting us to remove, reset, re-add, etc over and over. We've now learned our lesson for any we buy in the future. Other than that, they work great and provide WAY better lighting than the models that require bulb fixtures.

Be careful with the light

I purchased and installed this fan without issues, turned on the light and was honestly stunned to find out it's only capable of soft white light. It's a smart fan from 2022 with a dimmable LED, yet can't change the spectrum.... like that's 20 year old technology that should be standard on all fans. Be aware they also don't sell a replacement bulb in other light spectrums.

Great Fan

I've had this fan installed now for a few weeks, and I couldn't be more impressed. Easy to install (if you somewhat know what you're doing), it's quiet, and it PUMPS some air. Definitely would recommend.

Great Room Fan Review

So far has worked well. Easy to install compared to others. Very quiet but moves a lot of air. Controls are simple to operate. I would rate higher but one blade came damaged and had to be replaced and the packaging was poor for the price of the fan.

Never purchasing a Hunter fan with remote again

Purchased May 2019 and fan frequently does not work. Fan does it's "wobble" but will not turn on. Weekly occurrence where I it takes 30 plus minutes after multiple on and off attempts to get fan to work. Light works fine though...

Great purchase

It was hard to find a ceiling fan that would work on our 20 degree angled ceiling. This one worked great and we didn't have to buy an additional angled mounting kit. We put 2 of them in our 25 x 25 ft in our great room and they look very nice.

Wobbles

Bought 2 fans. First one went smoothly and was wobble free. Looks great. Installed 2nd fan and it wobbled. Removed it and replaced it with another hunter gravity and guess what it wobbled as well. Spent 2 hours trying to get it to be wobble free. REmoved this fan and buying a different brand. Now i'll have 2 different fans in rooms that are close together and not separated by walls but I can't waste time or money going for a 3rd fan.

Installed yesterday. It works so far. I'll re-evaluate in a year.

Perfect for a large room!

LOVE this fan. Quiet, air circulation is just what we wanted. We have a large combination room of kit/family/dining and it cools the room significantly. Definitely recommend!

Efficient and Extremely Quiet

This fan is extremely efficient and the lamp is perfect. The fan doesn't have dedicated speeds, and this can make finding the correct setting frustrating. Added to the fact there is a lag with the remote control. There is no Goldilocks setting... everything is too fast or too slow. Even in "winter" mode, the fan moves plenty of air making even large rooms comfortable. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

Super Quiet, No Vibrations

Great fan. Super quiet. Love the DC motor (quiet) with multiple speeds. Easy to install but the provides anchor screws broke so I had to use my own. Looks really attractive and moves a lot of air.
