Its okay, I thought it could open and close, but no. It also doesnt fit. I guess I measured wrong.
House warmer
They don't quite fit but someone with more knowledge of a Sawzall or even a small saw they could widen them vent opening. On the good side they fit on top of the vent and work just fine. My home is an open concept and it hard to warm a large space but these work great. My home is warmer now.

Easy to set to deflect the airflow without having an additional deflector on top of the register.

This was super easy to install and works great! I put it under a bench to redirect the air flow instead of blocking it.
So much better than the little clear plastic verson held on by magnets. Perfect for my need. Not easy to find, glad Houzz had them on offer. They are still plastic and not super quality looking, but they move the air perfectly.

I was thrilled to find this pop-up floor register. Since it is new, I don't know how it will hold up. I am concerned about the flimsy nature of the plastic - thus I took away one star. It would be perfect if it were made from metal as are usual registers.
Easy and effective
Works really well. Easy to install. We noticed a difference right away. I installed them backward so the large vent blows up and out at a better angle.
