At first I loved the look of this rug I got it for our girls playroom and they loved it too, I wanted something thick for floor playtime and that it was however quickly my love for it changed, this rug sheds so bad. For a couple of months I dealt with the battle of vacuuming my house everyday because the string literally go everywhere, they stick to your feet as your walking around and it ruin one of my vacuums due to the strings getting tangled in it, I only could stand it for about 5 months before I got rid of it! I would not buy this item again, it was a huge waste of over 200.

So disappointed in the beige color. It was not as described at all and was a weird, salmon pink. I had to pay a $50 fee to return it. It did not look like the site photo or match the description. I was disappointed in the customer service as well as the color.

This shag rug met all my expectations. I got the 8x10 in beige and this baby weighs 64 lbs so I knew it would be good quality. The shag is deep, lush and beautiful. Some have complained of a lot of shedding but I have had none of that. Maybe it depends on what color you get, not sure. We unrolled it and laid it down in our family room right away. There was no rippling, not even an upturned edge so I was very impressed with that. With A rug this big and heavy, I didn't have the luxury of letting it settle in another room, also, there is no odor like some have commented on. Again, maybe that has to do with color selection. One drawback is you can't really vacuum it, the shag is way too thick for that. I wouldn't say the shag is really high, it more dense and fluffy. I have a rug for my previous shag and this fluffs up beautifully after being wrapped so tight in the packaging. You better make sure of your color selection if you are getting this size, as it would be impossible to re wrap it up to ship it back. The beige color is very close to the display pic shown. It will look a bit darker at night and lighter during day. It's a nice warm sandy tan color. Just what I wanted to go with my furniture.

Very nice rug. The only problem is trying to vacuum it. Very thick and long. But I love it. Should be used in a low traffic area. It is like 3 inches thick.

Loved this when it was brand new…and even now, it’s still very cushy! But after 2 dogs and a winter, it looks pretty shabby. Wish it was washable!
