Love this rug in 8x10

We bought this rug for our double-purpose sun room/dining room in to pull together the mcm style and a bit of costal farmhouse. It's perfect!

Jute rug.

This Espina hand woven herringbone jute rug is just what I had been looking for. It's made in India and is 100% jute. You will need a rug pad for underneath it so it doesn't slip. It is reversible and the tag on it removed quite easily for me. It comes rolled up and it took awhile for the ends to uncurl but, that is fine. I wanted something to go under my tv stand to finish the look off. I just vacuum and it's good to go. It it quite thick which I really like and the ends are very tightly woven so it's not coming undone at all. It does say to avoid direct sunlight for long periods and to rotate occasionally to avoid a wear pattern. It doesn't seem to shed much at all so overall I'm very pleased with this rug. I just need my son to help lift the stand so I can put this under it! I don't have any negative comments on this one.

Perfectly chunky

We love the chunkiness of this rug. It has great color and is woven nicely. We are using it under our kitchen table with bench seats. The color fits in perfect for our decor. This would be a great piece for a transition area. Honestly you could use this everywhere! It is definitely well made. One down side is if you have dogs there nails might pull the weave out a little.

Nice Texture

I got this rug to go in my entry area. I covers the space perfectly. I love that it is a hardy material suited for high traffic. It adds texture to the room and makes it feel more inviting. It was not too heavy to unpackage and layout without any help. When I removed the thick plastic packaging, it had an earthy smell to it that all Jute has but it dissipated after being out for awhile. There is no grip material on the underside of the rug so you will need to get a rubber liner to go underneath to keep it from moving. Otherwise the rug is well made with thick sewn edges and tight weave. The corners are curled up right now but I expect them to relax over time.

Not even close

I ordered this in ivory. The color is like a yellow pine furniture and the pattern looks NOTHING like the picture. The weave is also very very loose. Can visually see so many holes without even unrolling it. Returning.

I love the creamy color of this rug, and the way it feels under my bare feet. It’s like summertime!

Color is off, smell is intense!

I placed an order for one of each color while they were on sale. The “ivory” color has a very yellow undertone (not neutral or beige, as it appears online), which makes a huge difference when trying to pull a room together. The “natural” color is more subdued and goes with more decor items in my home. They both smell like mildew and feel damp upon arrival, but seem to dry out after a while. They both have a loose weave and pieces that seem to fray all over the place (will not work with pets that scratch). Not worth the trouble, even at this price point.

Area Rug

If you can get past the odor coming from this rug! It smells like Diesel Fuel, almost toxic! Gives me a severe headache. Other than that it’s a beautifully made rug! I may return it just due to the odor.

Nice, thick attractive rug. Seems durable.

The rug is soft, thick and looks great with my laminate floor which is blond and light brown. The only problem is that my garage door that opens into the house brushes against the edge of the rug. But now that I've walked on the rug several times, the edge is getting flatter, so no problem. No problem with opening the closet door; the garage door has a sweep so needed a bit more clearance. It takes a few days for the odor to go away. Price is reasonable.

Poor quailty

Beautiful rug but as soon as I opened the package a lot of the rug was already falling apart. Disappointed for the price

Great jute rug, excellent value

i received this jute rug within days of ordering and it is exactly as expected. I actually had a very similar rug from PB that I got 10 years ago that was too small for my space. This rug is very soft underfoot and works well with a half inch rug pad, which you really need if using on hardwood to avoid slipping since it is not a stiff rug. I vacuumed both sides upon receiving it to remove any excess shedding and it's been fine since. Has a much more expensive look than the cost! Highly recommend.

weird smell

The texture is nice; however, it was a very strange smell, not sure why.
