Very nautical looking

I like the look of the lamps at my dock, they look very nautical. They are good quality, I just think the price is excessive.

Lack of support from Kichler.

I’m an electrician and I bought five of these special order fixtures for a customer. These are expensive post lights but they look really nice. Two of the five had a defect that the customer would not accept and I wouldn’t accept it either. There are two small bolts that mount the cage that holds the glass in place. The bolt was installed too deep on one side of the cage from the factory and there were hardly enough threads to attach the nut. It couldn't be backed out without damaging the threads either. This would affect the customer if he had to replace the bulb in the future so he asked me to have the defect corrected. I took pictures of both cages and sent an email to Kichler explaining the problem and they told me that “all sales and services including parts orders and warranty claims are facilitated through authorized Kichler dealers. Please reach out to the original place of purchase for assistance with replacement fixtures.” So instead of exchanging the defective cages Kichler wanted Lowes to handle the issue. Lowes told me that all they could do was accept a return of the defective fixtures. My customer told me to return the two fixtures and he will only keep the three I had already installed. Because Kichler did not want to put forth any effort to resolve their problem, Lowes had to take back the fixtures and lose a sale. And I wasted a lot of my time that wasn’t in the bid. Kudos to Lowes for allowing me to return them but bad on Kichler for their lack of effort. Instead of simplifying the solution with an exchange of the defective parts, they made me box up both fixtures and return them so all parties involved lost out on this occasion.

very nice light, I still have a issue with the light not working properly but it does look nice out by the dock

The perfect look for our actual farmhouse in the country! (Will try to remember to post pictures once the fixtures are installed.) We especially like the fact that the glass shield adds an extra special element.

Just perfect

Exact match but expensive.

It was a perfect match of the other houses light fixtures in the community so you can’t ask for much more than that.

Nice looking. but a little lightly built.

very nice looking lamp, well finished, gives a lot of light, but its built a little flimsy for outdoor use. Bulb is hard to replace. The mount is especially weak for such and expensive lamp that will be exposed to wind and rain.

Outdoor post lantern

Like it very much. Use photo eye to turn on dusk to dawn lighting new stairs. Wanted nice looking lamp focusing the light downward- not up into second story bedroom window. Works great.

Bought two of these lights to install around my pool. They were everything I hoped for and more. The quality of the light is exceptional and easy to install. I just ordered two more for the landings entering my backyard. Really makes the property pop!

Outdoor light for garage entrance

I had to add parts to be used for mounting these lights to my existing electrical box, however, once installed, they not only preform well, they also add the final touch to curb appeal!

Light Review

These are very nice looking lights. They don't look like you bought them in a box store. We placed them along our driveway and they look excellent. We put in 100w bulbs but it lit the place up like a prison compound. We went down to 75w bulbs and that provides adequate lighting.

Absolutely Perfect!

We looked for several weeks locally to find the perfect fixture for the front porch of our newly remodeled home. Nothing wowed us or had the vintage/farmhouse appeal that we knew our front door and porch was screaming for. We honestly went online as a last resort only because we were worried about purchasing something from only a picture and also were concerned about the time involved for shipping, etc.... WELL....!!! Let me tell you.....we were thrilled with the entire process AND product! The light is so beautiful and perfect. The black finish on it is so smooth and the chalky looking glass looks wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this light fixture. And it was easy for my husband to install it himself and save us the fee of having the electrician come back out. Also.....just for the record, Lighting New York employs knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful staff.. That light is EXACLTY WHAT WE WANTED. We are so happy with this light. We have received many compliments from family and friends who are now stopping by to see our beautiful renovated home. Will absolutely purchase another light from Lighting New York when we are ready to focus on our back patio renovation. Beautiful finish, great quality NONE
