Super-sized hall light

The Kichler Serca 3-Light 18" Black Incandescent Flush Mount Ceiling Light looks like a modern replacement for the old gaudy gold and glass ceiling lights from the 90's (and older). Unfortunately, it is way bigger than I expected and is too large to fit in the area I planned to replace an ancient ceiling light. The location was going to be at the top of the stairs, but it just will not work there due to its sheer size. Aesthetically, it would look like a giant tractor beam shining down on those using the stairs. I would recommend using lower wattage lights inside (since there are three) to keep the light from being too intense. It would also get in the way for taller people since we have a low ceiling hallway. I wish we had a better location to use it, but the layout of the house lighting doesn't offer another central location that would work. I'd love to see this in a smaller size, as it would be easier to install. Inside the light, you need to have three medium base E26 bulbs (up to 60W), which are not included. The light size is pretty massive: 18" deep and 5.75" tall. All and all, this is a very sleek and modern light that would do well to brighten up a large room.

Overall great fixture for multiple areas

This fixture was put in my entry hallway from my garage. This is a longer hall and is hard to get enough light. This fixture is very bright and gives off the right amount of light for the space. It could easily be a bedroom fixture or office/den. It has a clean look- could be mixed with nautical, industrial or modern. Very sturdy, strong, high-end looking metal fixture. Installation was easy to switch out a different semi-flush mount for this one.

Very nice light

This is another great Kichler product. I have replaced a lot of my light fixtures and I really like their products. This light looks very elegant, and will go with almost any decor. It was really easy to install and provides lots of light. It's diffused so it does not blind you when you look at it.

Round Contemporary Light Fixture

We like a more simple or neutral design in fixtures. A fixture that is adaptable in different locations. This is a large, polished nickel, round fixture it's approximately 18 inches wide and approximately 6 inches high. It weighs approximately 8 pounds. Since it is a larger fixture we plan on installing it in our entryway. We are not electricians and it's a substantial fixture that requires 2 people to install. We are have an electrician scheduled to help install. This fixture is perfect for a larger area or an area that requires more light such as our entryway. It uses 60W light bulbs or LED, 3 of either which are not included but easy to get at a hardware store etc. Overall, this is a quality light fixture that is a perfect addition to our home style.

Easy to install

Super cute and easy to install. Inread through all the instructions prior to installing this. The instructions were very detailed and i was able to fully understand what i was supposed to be doing. The light looks beautiful and illumiates just as i was hoping it would.

Beautiful light

Me and my wife loved this light we went and bought a matching one for our dining room. They put out plenty of light. Made very well. Easy to install. Looks very pretty. I have had a lot of compliments on how well it looks. Thanks For A Great Product!!!

This fixture was absolutely beautiful.

This fixture was absolutely beautiful. After receipt, I inspected them and put them up over the weekend . The item is well made and is what we expected it to look like and we are pleased with it. The installation is easy enough to assemble overall, and a good look.. It diffuses the light evenly. Elevates and pulls together the room. Modern, but approachable. Diffuses light very well. Highly recommend Kichler Lighting brand. I was not disappointed at all! It arrived in great shape, was actually bigger than I thought and went it quickly with no issues. I cut the power VIA the breaker and uninstalled the original fixture. Hung this new one from the ceiling fixture receptacle using some twine to suspend it at the appropriate height and went to work. White to white, black to black and the green (blue in my case ) wire was grounded to the green grounding screw in the fixture receptacle. The plates for the fixture all lined up as they were supposed to. All the hardware and wiring components were correct and true. Can't ask for much more! Package arrived quickly and securely packed. I did it by myself, it took less than 30 mins. Now my dinning room is brighter ...

Eye catching

This light is very eye catching. It adds a very different feel to any room. Super easy install. Very bright. Everything you expect from Kichler. It is oversized, and is floush moubted to the wall. 10/10

Unique and stylish light

I love this light. Such a cool stylish fixture. I don’t think I’ve seen a fixture like this anywhere. It’s almost like nautical port hole. It’s perfect for lower ceilings where flush mount lights are needed. As with all Kichler fixtures, installation was a breeze. I’m not an electrician, so having easy to follow installation instructions is so important when I’m purchasing a light fixture. If you’re looking for a modern, sleek, flush light style light, go with this one. I’m trying to find places I could put more.

Easy Installation & Ample Lighting

My pantry lighting needed updated so I installed the Kichler Serca 18 in. 3-Light Flush Mount Kit as a replacement. The room is rather small and I needed a good bit of light to see the top shelves as well as the bottom. This light provides ample amount of lighting so that I can see quite well in this space. I like the modern design and that it was super easy to install within a short time frame. I appreciate that changing bulbs should be a breeze with just having to remove a few knob screws.

Big bright light!!

This light is bigger than I anticipated and puts out quite a bit of light I installed it at the bottom of my stairs in the basement.. install was pretty easy and straightforward the only downfall was the five little screws that hold the diffuser to the light fixture but other than that it s a great light

Very stylish light! Install was more challenging

I picked out this light for my son's bedroom to upgrade to a more modern look, and also that his sibling's bedroom fan has the same shape/coloring. I am very pleased with how the light looks in his room! It clearly has a high quality construction like all Kichler products, and I appreciated that I could use my own light bulbs to choose how bright it would be. There are some exposed rivets/screws to add a slightly industrial look, but it is sleek at the same time. The diffuser on the bottom helps to create a smooth light (I used a flash in one photo to show the placement of the three bulbs in the light).
