[Rewarded Review] But Something Else!

After returning two of these due to damage, the third was ok, however where chopping anything like hamburger in a pan, it squeaks horribly. The drawer in the bottom is very small and it cooks slowly. I should have went with a different brand after the KitchenAid dishwasher we had, in less than a yr, had a rotten heater element that leaked and soaked our basement ceiling. The repairman stated there were so many of these going bad, KitchenAid sent them a bunch. Contacted KitchenAid, they just say call for repair. It was installed by deliver person and was checked for being level.

[Rewarded Review] Stove gets very hot on front

I purchased this stove over xmas and after receiving it, we noticed the small front facing space which sits above the door of the oven gets very got when the oven is on. I have small children so this is not safe. You can pretty much feel the heat escaping from the door. We chatted Best Buy and the offered to replace the stove. We got the delivery yesterday and the same thing is happening. Why would you sell a stove that is unsafe? This is so disappointing.

[Rewarded Review] It’s nice

I don’t believe this much proof statement or print proof that has not been my experience thus far. We bought KitchenAid everything for our new appliances. The fridge and the dishwasher are pretty good. The microwave in the oven I’m constantly wiping down, but the product themselves are very nice and the dishwasher is the quietest one we’ve ever had and cleans the dishes, sparkling clean what I didn’t know is the microwave is 1850 W so it screwed up my Christmas peanut brittle because my previous one was only 750 W lol so I will be adjusting next year

Horrible design needs to be tested by actual Cooks

I bought 2 months ago and I hate the stove. Who ever designed this stove obviously has never used one. I had to put finger nail polish on the knobs just so I could tell what position they are at. What is wrong with switches to go back and forth between single and duel settings the half turn on some knobs and full turn on others is flat out hard to use.

[Rewarded Review] Extreme Disappointment

I am extremely disappointed in my new Kitchenaid 30-inch Electric Convection Range. Why??? When I am baking cookies, I have to sit in front of the range's glass window and notice that the entire time the temperature is incorrect and is off by 30 degrees too low, or by almost 50 degrees too hot. And it was just purchased this past Fall. We will be calling up repair services every week if necessary. The oven was set on 350 but new oven thermometer recorded temperature to be 325 or 400 degrees. I have had many failed baked pastries due to this oven.

[Rewarded Review] Disappointed - poor manufacturing

We have now exchanged this item twice due to manufacturing defects with the silicone seal around the glass cooktop and silicone being smeared all over the cooktop and stainless steel surround. We’ve never been able to use this. So far, extremely disappointed with this kitchen aid range. For the cost, it should come in perfect condition, not slopped together. And driving 3 hours to pick it up/return it 3 times is begin frustrating. If it didn’t match all our other appliances, I would go with a different brand at this point.

[Rewarded Review] Large Capacity Oven

Love the size of the oven. Three racks were awesome at Thanksgiving. Oven takes at least 20 minutes to heat up.

I thought I was buying a good product, but I am sad to report that this is the worst Range I have ever owned. There must be something wrong with the heating in the oven because it took quite a long time for pies and other things to bake. Any drippings that fall on the door as you are removing things from the oven go into the bottom drawer and onto the floor of the kitchen when you close the door (instead of remaining in the oven). This is a hazard and a nightmare to clean. The TIMER is the worst. You cannot hear it even at the highest setting, and it doesn't beep again until a whole minute later. This is also hazardous if someone forgets they put something on the stove. The racks don't slide out easily and drop down, so pies and things are prone to slide forward as you are trying to pull out the rack. This is also hazardous. The glass top does not clean as well as my old LG. The knobs feel cheap. I'm so sad I bought this range. The only good thing about it is it looks nicer than most of the ovens out there. Sad state for the industry.

[Rewarded Review] Some damage to the stove top. Getting replaced.

Rubber border to the stove top damaged upon arrival. Contacted our local dealer and he has ordered a replacement stove top. Good local service. The actual oven temperature appears to be 25 degrees lower than the temperature as set on the stove. This has been consistent. We will ask the local dealer about this issue. Other than that, we like the stove and the local service.

[Rewarded Review] "Disappointing Performance and Poor Energy Efficie

I purchased this range 9 months ago, so this review reflects my experience over time, not just out of the box. While the stovetop and oven function adequately, there are some significant drawbacks.

Worst range I've ever owned.

Purchased this model online at NFM within last 5 years. Would have never purchased if seen quality in person. Oven does not hold temps. Takes well over baking time of recipes. Have checked temps with oven thermometer. Runs 25 degrees low and doesn't really bake unless set above 350 degrees. Cheap flimsy oven racks and flimsy bottom drawer

[Rewarded Review] Problems with new defective oven

We bought this range and I looked forward to using it...but the oven temperature was off by often 20 degrees lower and I had to purchase an oven thermometer from a local grocery store. When I realized the oven had problems we had to contact the service department and had to wait almost 4 weeks until a new motherboard and thermostat arrived. Meanwhile I had to constantly adjust the oven temperature, checking on it every 10 minutes, until the problem was fixed. I am still checking to make sure problem is solved. While the cooktop was fine, the oven was defective and I was not happy with my new oven. I longed for my old one.

[Rewarded Review] 3 out of 5 but happy!

I gave 3 out of 5 because right after I purchased the top glass came loose from the top of the range. I’m having to wait a month or more to get the top replaced. Also the first time we used the oven the temperature was off around 50 degrees which wasn’t too much of a problem because I was able to adjust the temperature through the touch pad. Other than those two things it works good. Happy with the purchase.

[Rewarded Review] Easy clean cook top

Bought this because in store it looked great. Having used it a few weeks now I find it lacking (to me) in important areas. The control panel buttons need to be pushed quite hard, cannot turn the oven light off when the door is open and when you turn it on then open and close the door it does not auto turn off. The alert beep is way too quiet. Need to be standing within 10 feet to hear it and it only beeps once! The oven, once it finally gets to set temp varies at least 25 degrees while cooking. Not good if something needs a steady temp and the bread proof temp should be 10 degrees warmer. All that being said, the oven is large and the cooktop is very easy to keep clean. So instead of waiting 20 min for a pot of water to boil I have hauled out my induction counter top burner and use my toaster oven a lot more than planned. My lesson learned, go with your first choice, not by price point.

Disappointed performance

Purchased all new kitchen appliances. A bit disappointed with the range. Ising the timer using on the oven is not straight forward It keeps turning off on me. Not sure if it is user error or not. The top left burner doesn’t seem to heat up very well. Thinking it is because I am using older cookware maybe not perfectly level bottom of pan. but I can use fry pan on other side well. If my house would have had a gas

Nice design, good looking range

Had a Bosch range for about 12 years and had problems with temperature consistency in oven and on one burner that seemed to operate only at a high temperature. This new KitchenAid is much better. Pros: Has both true fan convection and regular oven operation available with easy to operate touch pad. Warming setting on stove top and oven are useful. Quiet operation. Steam cleaning oven with water rather than chemicals or high temperature is an important feature. Larger size oven with 3 racks. Nice looking, clean design Cons: tiny oven drawer holds only a few shallow pans. Could benefit with a night light to turn on control panel. Need to use it for a few months to assess more.

[Rewarded Review] Great Features and large oven

I love my new stove. The convection functions work great. I love the glass top. It's easy to clean. I used to have a gas stove that I just didn't like. This is a great improvement. I have baked bread, chicken and many other dishes that all came out great. If you are looking for a quality stove, this one is it. I can't wait for the holidays to cook the turkey. Worth every penny for this one.

[Rewarded Review] Kitchen Game Changer!

This range is part of a a kitchen refresh project 20 years after we did a total renovation on our 1923 house kitchen. The old range did its work but the convection had been burned out for quite some time and burners were not consistent. Welcome KitchenAid! It is so well built, easy to use and every day I’m really enjoying cooking again. The Even-Heat burners keep food at even temp and the convection oven works so well. I’m whipping up lots of crispy roasted vegetables and meals. And it looks great!

[Rewarded Review]

The stove door came apart the first time I opened it. A bolt inside the oven door was sheered off and the inside finish is chipped. The door won’t close properly. The cook top has several tiny scratches, and I don’t know if they will compromise the cooktop over time. The sealant on the cooktop edge has squirted out a bit and hardened near the front of the stove. It is unsightly. Who knows if that will cause further problems with normal use? I requested a replacement stove within a few days of delivery, thinking that a return was my right since it was within 14 days of delivery. I was told that was not an option since it was reparable. The repairs are scheduled for Nov 4, about 3 weeks after delivery. I feel like the stove was a factory second. I will never buy anything from Whirlpool Inside Pass again.
