I’ve had it for little while. So far no leaks. No assembly required. Packaging wasn’t that good for shipping but it came undamaged. It did come with shipping stickers on the rain barrel it self which was time consuming to get off, and it still has adhesive stuck on the barrel. It looks fine. I’ll see how long it lasts.

There were some leaks. The overflow drain was a smooth pipe lacking a threaded connector

Great rain barrel

I've had mine for over 12 years and it's been great. It's on the south side of house and never had issue until recently when handle broke. It still looks close to new. No complaint and nice it has a overflow so you can control where it goes.

Rainbarrel looks very nice. It was all set up so easy to install. The faucet installed on this is not very good. It has a tiny handle and it is difficult to turn it. Also water comes out very slowly. The barrel is great, it would be worth it to put a better faucet on it.

I would definitely recommend.

It was shipped to my house. It leaks from around the spigot. Cheaply made. Now I have to deal with returning it.

Done Purchasing with Walmart

I purchased this online, however when it was delivered it was black shelves so I returned it and reordered. The order got cancelled so I did not get my rain barrel. I am looking at other alternative stores as Walmart let me down twice. Will never order through them again . Disappointing and can’t understand how they stay in business with such ridiculous errors

Pretty Rain Barrel

Pretty Rain Barrel! Sadly once it had water in it it leaked from the bottom of the black plastic circle that holds the tap. Also the flow of water coming from the tap was so weak it took 5 minutes to fill the watering can! I returned it to Walmart and will look for a replacement…..

Low quality faucet and hose connector

Even before I unpacked my new rain barrel, I noticed that the brass tap was broken and that the broken half was thrown into the rain barrel by the delivery people I assume. The original tap was a poor thin metal and I went to the hardware store to buy a $15 dollar faucet that was made of a considerably thicker metal. The additional water connection tube for connecting to overflow rain barrel was not threaded so it would make connecting to another rain barrel via hose challenging. Not really impressed by the low quality material for the price point of approximately $200. The colour and shape of the barrel was nice though but otherwise not very impressed. Get it on super sale, if possible.

cheap spout

The rain barrel itself is nice and has all the features one would expect. However the spout at the bottom is very cheap and came apart within the first week.

The rain barrel came without a faucet handle. Called the company, it took many times of calling to get to live customer service. Now I have been waiting three weeks and the part is still not here. Otherwise the barrel itself is good quality.

Product seems great except for it was missing the handle to the spigot when it showed up.

Missing Parts

I ordered two of these and one didn't come with the mosquito screen and both didn't come with the handle to the spigots. The Home Depot referred me to the vendor (Koolatron) to rectify the issues with the missing components, and I have yet to receive correspondence from them.

Delivered damaged.

I would suggest not even buying this unless you can ship to store and inspect first. Mine was delivered busted at the spigot. Bought this at 0% financing and they will not replace, but want to refund it instead meaning I would now miss the promotional price.

Really like this rain barrel but needs work

We have 2 of these to store rain water. We're happy enough with overall construction, looks, and size 75 US gallons. Issues with the shipping, with output spigot, and overflow pipe. The spigot on now is supposed to better than the first generation, but still pretty cheap and slow. Spigot flows too slow, needs to bigger diameter. The overflow pipe would be 100% more useful if it had 3/4" GHT so we could connect garden hose right to it! We had to jury rig overflow hosing, pain in the behind!
