Missing piece cost me more than the sink
Sink arrived quickly but did not have all the mounting brackets necessary, couldn't return to store since we had ordered it online and had to wait for a whole new sink/unit to ship. Ended up without a sink for multiple days and had pay for a plumber to come out twice. In addition the mounting deck that is supposed to allow it to fit to any counter did not fit our standard thickness counter and required additional work during installation. Love the sink and its features but missing pieces and not easy installation made it a very expensive sink
High Quality Kitchen Sink
We absolutely love this kitchen sink! The depth is wonderful, the accessories have all come in handy and it is a nice & large spacious sink to work in and clean dishes in. It also has a clean and modern look to it in our kitchen. No complaints at all. We would order this sink again in a heartbeat!
Nice sink - Additional accessories shown in pictures and included catalog do not fit
Love the sink but was frustrated when I ordered the dish drying rack and realized it fits every other workstation sink except mine which was the KWT300-32 . The only accessories that fit are the included items (colander and cutting board). None of the other accessories in the photos or included catalog fit. Found this out when I purchased a KRM-11BL roll up dish drying rack. I will say customer service via chat was quite helpful.
Beautiful sink with flaws
I cut my $500.00 butcher block countertop to fit this sink to discover that the top mount hardware is complete garbage. The screws in the clips that hold the sink down thread into tiny plastic pieces only to strip before they ever get tight. My sink has one corner that is bent upwards so it doesn’t fit flush to my countertop. For all the money I spent on this sink it is useless. There is literally no way to mount is solidly and flush to my counter. I wish I had bought something cheaper.
Love the sink quality
I absolutely love this sink. I had a double sink before which I was not a fan of it made washing pots and pans a hassle. With the single sink from I have all the space to easily wash all of my pots and pans. I also love that it's deep and great quality stainless steel. Having different accessories that I can is a major plus.
Nice addition to our kitchen remodel
We always wanted a single bowl sink, and this one fits the bill. There's no limit to the size of pots and pans that we can clean. It's drop-in mounted, and our installer opted not to use the clips. He just used silicone under the lips. If there was one thing we could change, it would be for the bottom grid to be in 2 separate sections, or an optional silicone mat. As it is, the size of the grid makes daily rinsing and cleaning the sink somewhat of a chore. The grid is also too big to fit in the dishwasher. We did find a silicone sink mat online that works perfectly with the sink.
Big and awesome, but huge?
Replaced a traditional builder 2 bowl and should have thought things through a little more:
Great finish and color, awesome accessories
Installed this sink undermount in quartz countertops. I did not install it myself but i did hook up the drain and garbage disposal. The sink drain that it comes with is not for a disposal so that will have to be purchased separately. I was disappointed that Kraus does not offer a disposal drain fitting so i had to buy a different brand from lowes in matte black. The sink has been installed for a couple weeks now and so far i love it.
The sink looks great! What a wonderful upgrade in appearance from the el cheapo shallow double basin builders grade aluminum sink. I installed it without problems and meticulously made sure it was PERFECTLY level. That is the problem. The bottom is perfectly flat, there is no pitch at all and therefore the sink gets scummy unless you wipe it down daily.
Huge, can be tough to clean food debris in back
Very nice set up. Love the cutting board and drying rack. Clean, sleek, huge. Only hard part is getting sink completely clean if food gets stuck in back corners and you have the drying rack up, hard to use water to get it towards the drain/strainer. No big deal though bc this is a nice upgrade from my previous sink. I’m happy
Garbage
A lot of us remember the sink in our first apartment. Double bowl stainless. They never scratched. They were tough. The stainless in this sink is soft. It scrat's easily. When I pour past and hot water into a strainer, the sink pops fromm expansion. It does not drain well. Be careful placing a knife or fork in the sink. The grate they put in this sink to spare the scratching can hold the butt of a knife or fork to slide into the grate causing a point of a knife or fork tines to point up and can cause injury. Worst purchase I have ever made for my kitchen.
Poor quality for "Stainless"
We've had it for a week and this cannot be used without the elevation wire rack. The sink scratches like it's made of plastic. We're not using steel wool or anything very abrasive. I cleaned the sink and it is full of scratches and swirls now after using a sponge with a plastic scour side. The outer edges seem like they're actually a durable stainless. Additionally, the mounting clips are a poor design.
Great product, strong, easy to install
The sink is made of Gauge 16 stainless steel that makes strong. The faucets sits strong with and without top plate. Silicone covered drain grill is absolutely brilliant.
Good reason it was on clearance
I bought this sink to upgrade a dual sink to a single. The price seemed pretty good, but it wasn't until I got home to install that I realized why. The Kraus sink did not have any rails to help secure the sink to the counter. If this was a new build home, no problem since I would have had to cut out the hole for the sink. I made it work with some shims and the flimsy tabs provided by Kraus.
Lots to like but a couple things to hate!
I love the look and the workstation aspect but hate cleaning the stainless sink guard! The sink itself is difficult to clean with all of its crisp corners. The drain strainer is pretty worthless as it lets lots of food particles through. The last comment has to do with the depth which I love for cleaning large items but we had to rig a system for resting a small dishpan for doing dishes that can't go in the dishwasher. They should have a dishpan accessory that can rest on the ledges that the cutting board and drainer rest on. I don't hate my choice but if I had to do it over would probably not buy this sink.
Does Not Drain Naturally
The grate was the primary reason for buying this particular sink. However, the sink is flat and even when using a hose to move the food particles down the drain, they don't move. That means removing the grate at least once a day. I do recommend buying the same unit with the drain hole at the corner of the sink and manufactured to drain accordingly.
Beautiful Sink that Looks Amazing!
I originally saw this style of sink on an Instagram. It took some digging to find out that the sink in the video was a Kraus workstation sink. Lowes has the best price on these, so I picked up the sink along with some accessories.
This is a game changer!
This sink is a total game changer with being able to utilize a bunch of different accessories to make prepping and washing dishes a breeze. The low divider in the double bowl is the perfect height for still being able to wash large dishes without obstruction while also providing a surface to rest heavy pots/pans on. This sink is one of my favorite things about our kitchen and I love that it's so easy to clean!
LOVE this kitchen sink!!
I love absolutely everything about this sink. Large and easy to wash large skillets and stock pots. Elevated drain allows to much flexibility when using the sink. I can have a few items drying//draining on same level that I'm washing new items. The accessories are simply awesome. Didn't think I would use the flexible drain base but it is now an absolute in my life, washing up small items by hand and literally it establishes two levels of drying surface. The cutting board is very high quality and excess juices drain right into the sink, and not on my countertop. Husband installed....took a good bit of time but we saved a ton by self installation. I would recommend this sink to anyone!!! And the price is awesome.
Amazing sink / dry rack - totally love it
When we did a total kitchen remodel, I had debated keeping my old porcelain sink - I thought it was one of the best sinks I ever had. Now that we have had THIS sink, oh my gosh - I hope it lasts forever. I use the foldable rack as a drying rack: the sink is large enough that I can wash a large frying pan on one side while washed dishes are sitting on the drying rack. See photo! Some of the reviews mention that it's a bit of a challenge to chase food to the drain given the large size, and while that is true, our moen faucet has a flex sprayer hose attached and it's actually sort of fun to chase the food down with it. (Slowly relearning what the definition of fun is after the pandemic maybe.) My husband is the cook - and he LOVES having the cutting board right on the sink - where he can wash, chop and move waste directly to the garbage disposal all in the same place. I LOVE it. It does leave water spots if it's not dried - but that's just part of having a stainless sink - it cleans up beautifully.
