So Excited About My New Sink!

I just had my 33” Kraus sink installed 2 days ago and I couldn’t be happier. My condo kitchen was remodeled in late 2018 and I lived out of town at the time. The counter company installed a 22” sink when I asked them to install the largest sink they could for a 36” base cabinet. What a disappointment. The condo was a rental at the time so I just lived with it. I have been living here for over a year now and just hated that sink! I found this sink, which can be installed as a drop in or under mount, and had to go the drop in route because of where the faucet hole was. What an amazing difference! I love the whole package. I just used the cutting board tonight and it was so easy with it right on the sink. It also comes with a drying rack. Everything looks so modern and updated now and the sink edge around the countertop is very narrow, unlike older drop in sinks. The heavier 16 gauge material is also worth every penny. You can’t go wrong with this sink.

Missing piece cost me more than the sink

Sink arrived quickly but did not have all the mounting brackets necessary, couldn't return to store since we had ordered it online and had to wait for a whole new sink/unit to ship. Ended up without a sink for multiple days and had pay for a plumber to come out twice. In addition the mounting deck that is supposed to allow it to fit to any counter did not fit our standard thickness counter and required additional work during installation. Love the sink and its features but missing pieces and not easy installation made it a very expensive sink

Great look, poor functionality

I put this in last year, the cutting board not useful as it fits lengthwise. No space to wash and drain dishes at the same time. Finish scratches easily, the rack that protects the bottom catches food and is unsanitary. The sink doesn't drain well and is always gross with food partials and the sharp edges and corners are imposable to keep clean. The final straw, the drain assembly is plastic and comes apart every time it gets bumped under the sink. Pulling this out and replacing.

High Quality Kitchen Sink

We absolutely love this kitchen sink! The depth is wonderful, the accessories have all come in handy and it is a nice & large spacious sink to work in and clean dishes in. It also has a clean and modern look to it in our kitchen. No complaints at all. We would order this sink again in a heartbeat!

Consider a different sink

I should have made this review a long while ago, the sink was impressive but overtime started to notice its flaws. Like others have mentioned the corners of this sink accumulates water, not sure why the corners are 90 degrees and doesn't drain the water... Not only that the first day we got this sink it scratched we were super careful too. It rusts easily too. I would suggest finding a different sink, anything besides this one besides the review rating is misleading!

Nice sink - Additional accessories shown in pictures and included catalog do not fit

Love the sink but was frustrated when I ordered the dish drying rack and realized it fits every other workstation sink except mine which was the KWT300-32 . The only accessories that fit are the included items (colander and cutting board). None of the other accessories in the photos or included catalog fit. Found this out when I purchased a KRM-11BL roll up dish drying rack. I will say customer service via chat was quite helpful.

Beautiful sink with flaws

I cut my $500.00 butcher block countertop to fit this sink to discover that the top mount hardware is complete garbage. The screws in the clips that hold the sink down thread into tiny plastic pieces only to strip before they ever get tight. My sink has one corner that is bent upwards so it doesn’t fit flush to my countertop. For all the money I spent on this sink it is useless. There is literally no way to mount is solidly and flush to my counter. I wish I had bought something cheaper.

Poor quality mounting clips = frustrating install

Install was forced to a halt when the plastic threads in the mounting clips stripped under any sort of pressure from the metal screws in the same mounting clip. Happened with every single mounting clip. Had to purchase more mounting clips (American Standard brand) to get the job done.

I was surprised to see that the sink bowl was a mat stainless steel and mot brushed. That’s why so many people complain about the Kraus sink. I returned it and purchased another brand from HD.

Thé delivery

The sink looks lovely and I love the accessories which come with it. BUT, the box was destroyed and sadly the sink was badly bent. BUT!!! You guys just sent me another one and the box looks great, so we will see how it is when the installers come. I really love the sink and I hope this one is good. So far your company has been great, thank you for that. I’m giving you a 5 rating because the sink looks great, of course I haven’t used it yet. I’ll let you know when I’m up to my arms in soapy water washing pots and pans.

Finding a sink to fit into cabinet and counters installed 25 yrs ago by a presumably inebriated carpenter was tricky. That done, this one is huge and accommodates larger pots. I find the included dish rack unusable and the cutting board superfluous as I have several already. We put our own dish rack inside the sink, on its rubber mat, instead. It is a pain to remove the included rack (keeps the sink from scratches), each evening, but it keeps the sink looking pristine. Loving the size of this, however, after just one week of usage.

WELL PRICED QUALITY

This sink is by far my favorite sink! Not only is this the only sink I've been specifying for my clients, but I have one too. It is so well priced for a 16 gauge stainless steel sink compared to it's bigger named competitors which are only 18 gauge. It is quieter, (not that hollow ting when your pan hits the side of the sink), has great accessories included, sloped well and has great lines.

Came dented

Sink came in dented on the side. Had the plumber and granite installer scheduled for install on arrival, so couldn’t return. Had to live with it. Also template provided used to cut the granite was wrong, hole is way too big. Sink sits with gaps on the edges where it meets the granite. Had to use a bunch of caulk to seal, looks terrible.

Love the sink quality

I absolutely love this sink. I had a double sink before which I was not a fan of it made washing pots and pans a hassle. With the single sink from I have all the space to easily wash all of my pots and pans. I also love that it's deep and great quality stainless steel. Having different accessories that I can is a major plus.

Nice addition to our kitchen remodel

We always wanted a single bowl sink, and this one fits the bill. There's no limit to the size of pots and pans that we can clean. It's drop-in mounted, and our installer opted not to use the clips. He just used silicone under the lips. If there was one thing we could change, it would be for the bottom grid to be in 2 separate sections, or an optional silicone mat. As it is, the size of the grid makes daily rinsing and cleaning the sink somewhat of a chore. The grid is also too big to fit in the dishwasher. We did find a silicone sink mat online that works perfectly with the sink.

Big and awesome, but huge?

Replaced a traditional builder 2 bowl and should have thought things through a little more:

Scratches very easily.

This is more of a display item, something not meant to be used. This is poor quality product. We have had the sink for 2 weeks. I placed a new quart sized pot in the bottom of the sink, washed it, out and noticed lots of scratches. Ridiculous!! It does have a protective grid for the bottom, but it still should not scratch that easily.

This is NOT Undermount

This sink is not as described. The description on the Home Depot page says, "Drop-In/Undermount," but it is not. The sink I received is Drop In/Topmount only. My receipt also says, "Drop-In/Undermount." I called another store and asked to check to see if I was sent the wrong sink. The sink in the ad (dual mount) and the sink I received (top mount) have the exact same SKU and model numbers. I'm sure the sink is great, but it won't work for me.

J clips dont fit

Ordered stone counter tops. The stone cutters did a perfect job cutting the stone to the template in the sink box.

Owned it for a day and it scratched

Scratched in the first use!!! Quickly chose this sink while busy with renovations and ignored the reviews that said it easily scratches. Well, it’s true. Just used the sink for the first time and it scratched with a regular sponge I was using to sanitize the sink with! Now I’m searching how much it will cost me to replace it because this certainly wouldn’t last long. What a terrible waste of money on the product and on the install.
