Relieved at last
Love this tower fan. It raises up enough to blow the air over the footboard of a sleigh bed. Most of the stand fans don’t. It also has a sleep mode so it will automatically turn off after a set amount of hours.
Amazing fan!
I love that you can adjust this fan. Even at the lowest setting it puts out a decent amount of cool air. Quiet. Also love that the actual working part is the upper half of this fan. Great price.
Metal Twin Bedframe
It comes in many pieces, which have to be screwed together. Said holes were drilled to mount headboard, but there were no holes. Once put together it's very solid. If you purchase it be sure you have a drill, and time to put it together. The box was punctured, and the bottom had a 4 inch opening when it arrived. Thank God my son was visiting when it arrived and he put it together.
What a worthless fan! Absolutely the worst fan for producing any strong output. You can get more breeze by deflating a child's balloon. Don't buy unless you want a minimum wind to barely blow through your eyebrows!
This Fan is junk, WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS MOD 2535
First of all it was and is missing parts, the remote was missing and is the 5 screws that hold it together.
Great for small spaces
I stay in a very small place, and the pedestal fan I love and have used for years, takes up space I could put to better use. A regular tower fan doesn’t work, so was excited when I saw this space saving fan. However, once assembled and turned on, there’s a rattling sound that will not go away.
A Necessity for someone with Hot Flashes
I needed to purchase a new fan because the one I had was wore out. I didn’t want the typical huge fan anymore. I needed a fan that has a slim design to save space in my very tiny house. I am very impressed with this fan because it is pretty sturdy. The base is so much smaller then the HUGE fan bases that comes with the standard fans. It gives out plenty of air. I have a fan on 24/7. I have SEVERE heat flashes. A fan is a necessity. All the reviews for this fan are very positive and it fit my needs at a great price. The fan oscillates and cools off our livingroom even on low speed. The remote is OUTSTANDING. The remote on this Lasko fan is one of the best I have used so far. Unlike other fan remotes you don’t have to be an inch away for it to work. It works with almost no effort and the fan picks it up from my kitchen to the other side of my livingroom. It has a sleep timer and regular timer. The remote let’s you control everything from your recliner. There is also nice big buttons on the top of the fan. You can adjust the height of the fan as well as turn the vents on the fan itself up or down. It is a very nice fan. If your like me and you need a fan that will actually cool you off choose a fan from Lasko. I only use their brand fans because they last forever.
Trouble!
I had this fan 90% assembled only to find the blade spinner that attaches the blade to the fan
Not very safe
This fan is perfect if you’re looking for a really tall oscillating fan. The three speeds are each pretty powerful though the sleep mode isn’t any different from the lowest setting. However the thing I absolutely hate about this fan is that the actual fan is not attached to the pole it sits on. I think this present a huge hazard considered if a child pulled this over they could get seriously hurt as the fan is heavy. It’s already fallen off the base once when I was adjusting the base and hit me in the head. The concept is great but the execution is poor.
Blows grease into the air
We loved the size, look, and power of this fan! Was exactly right for our tall bed. BUT, after leaving it going for a bit in our room we walked in and it smelled like an auto shop. Confirmed the smell was coming from the fan, so we took it outside and let it blow on full speed for a few hours. Did not help. So, we exchanged it for another exactly like it. The second one still stank! Bummer, because we loved the fan otherwise.
Not Quiet
We use this fan in our bedroom at night. Even on the lowest setting, it isn't quiet at all - the motor is quite loud. It's also impossible to know in the dark if I've set it to oscillate because there is no beep confirmation. It does have a smooth and quiet oscillation though. Overall, it costs about double what it's worth, and doesn't meet my needs, but forget about disassembling it and somehow getting it back into its packaging. Ain't gonna happen, and retailers know it. I recommend you buy a different fan.
Lasko 52’ Tower Oscillating Fan w. Remote
Wanted an oscillating taller tower fan with a remote and this one fit the bill. Took ten minutes to put it together with zero issues. This fan is perfect for our needs and space. Only issue - wish the fan itself had a place on it to store the remote like our last one. Outside of that - this fan has great settings to include four times
Decent fan, a space saver.
The fan itself is okay. It definitely does save some space. It really has to be put on setting two (medium) or 3 (high) to get any real air movement. It does have a sleep mode which is very quiet but it doesn't seem to move a lot of air, and I like to hear a fan (white noise) when I sleep, So the sleep mode is useless to me. The box was pretty damaged when I received it, The bottom of the base seemed dirty and scraped up, as other people have mentioned. The five screws to connect the 2 parts of the base were missing. The weight of the fan keeps the two pieces of the base together so it's not a big deal, just a nuisance. I'm sure I could find them at a hardware store. Overall not a bad fan, it does feel a little cheap, but hopefully it'll last a little while, as it probably won't be moved much from its current location.
I purchased this fan to have a second one upstairs . We purchased the exact fan years ago and was extremely happy with it . However this one came and after putting together is not oscillating. The manual states to not return This item to the store . So I have called the 800 number and all it is is a message telling you to go to their website and start a chat . I have done this for 3 days now and get put in a line up with like a 30 minute plus wait then it goes inactive and you have to start a new chat and go back in the line up . This is the worst experience and now I have a product that is defective and can't return it get help to resolve this . I'm so frustrated that I'm ready ti take it back to the store and demand my money back ..
LOVE LOVE LOVE
I purchased this fan for the bedroom when our other Lasko 18†pedestal fan stopped working. I was skeptical but I wanted to try it out especially because of the space saving element. I am so happy I did!!! I have been keeping it on high and it really moves the air better than our old larger fan. I also am used to the fan for the white noise. When it is on high you can hear it some although not nearly as much as the older circular fans. On medium and low i can barely hear anything. I love this fan and plan on replacing the other fans in my home with these
4 Stars
I needed a quiet efficient cool circulating fan for my bedroom. Since this fan combined the tower - pedestal function it fitted the 3 main essentials I desired. It takes up a minimum of space. It can be adjusted to stand high enough to circulate air over the bed. The tower style always seems to circulate air to a much cooler degree. Two bonus functions are that it is very quiet and it has the oscillating function. Also the remote is very handy since I can control all functions once I am in bed. As always I had to take away one star on these tower style fans. That is the fact that you cannot really get inside to thoroughly clean the blades. The manual does not advise it and just says to use a vaccume cleaner with brush attachment and swipe over the grill. Overall this fan works great for my needs.

This fan was exactly what we were looking for. 1) We have a king size bed and it takes up a large percentage of our bedroom so we needed a thin fan to allow passage around the room. This was perfect for that compared to a standard farm. 2) We needed a fan that was tall enough to provide air over our bed. Standard tower fans are typically 40-42 inches tall and so we dont feel any air when in our bed. This one is tall enough and provides a beautiful cool air. 3) We like the white noise of a fan but it has to be a continuous sound without any weird mechanical sounds that some finds produce. This fan is a perfect fan sound that is consistent and very unobtrusive. 4) Obviously we wanted a fan to actually....blow. And this fan does that very very well. Highly recommend.
Great space saving fan choice
I wanted a fan for the bedroom that didn't take up a lot of space and was quiet. This fan is actually everything it said it was and meets all my expectations. It has a variety of settings including a sleep mode that runs quietly for up to 7 1/2 hours. You hardly hear any noise with the fan until you run it at top speed and even then it's not noisy, just windy. It oscilates at a rotation of about a 3/4 turn which is great. You can turn oscillation on or off. It stands perfectly at bed height. There is some very minor assembly, just put the pedestal halves together and plop the fan on top of the pole. Easy. There is a remote which is great and 2 AAA batteries are required (not included). There is an adjustment feature to point the air up or down so if you don't like the breeze directly on you you have that great option as well. I love this fan. I didn't want a big giant ugly round fan and this fan is sleek, efficient, well made and has great features. I was really picky in what I wanted in a bedroom fan and I'm happy to say that this met all of my expectations. Also, even though it's quiet, it does move a good amount of air.
Love this Lasko fan!!!
Love the adjustable height! It’s perfect for my high bed. Very dim light on top. You can’t see it but I also love that since I don’t like any lights to sleep. Other fans have the number light on the bottom so you see how high it’s own and the timing. This one you can’t see that, but I like it. Love slim look. Fits perfectly in my room between a small shelve and my small filing cabinet. It’s 5 feet away from bed so I feel the air perfectly. Very low noise which I like that too. I had another Lasko floor fan, but it was a lot more noisy. This one is quieter so I like that a lot too. Overall, just love the fan! Glad I made the purchase.

Some good/some bad. This fan would be 5 stars except: #1 the angle of oscillation (how it far it goes to the right and the left when is oscillating) is WAY TOO SMALL. The fan oscillates about 25% of a circle. That means, for instance, that if you set the fan right in front of you, pointed at your face, and you stretched out both arms and put the fan on oscillate, the fan would blow from your face out to the end of one arm. That's it. It would then blow back to your face and stop. Most oscillating fans would blow pretty much from the end of one arm to the end of the other. #2 you can't read the digital display unless you are standing right above the fan. Most pedestal fans have their controls on the top BUT they angle the top forward so you can see how each control is set from your chair of bed. Not this one. Either guess at the settings or get up and go look. Neither of these things is necessarily a big deal but each of them is clearly a design defect, in my opinion. On the upside, the fan is whisper quiet on Low and not that loud on High. It doesn't move nearly as much air as a conventional floor-standing pedestal fan but then if is ONLY HALF THE SIZE.
