Beautiful chairs!

These chairs are exactly what I was looking for. They arrived promptly and I could tell they were originally packaged with care. However, due to clear mishandling from the shippers (holes punched in the side of the boxes, etc., all three chairs have minor damage. I will not be returning them, because I feel I can live with the damage and even repair some of it, but I am disappointed that quality items cannot be manufactured and survive the trip to the consumer unscathed. Since we are in the middle of an extensive remodel, I do not yet have photos, but I just know they will look perfect in my new kitchen.

sloppy, uneven stitching, hard "leather"

This is an expensive stool that is really horrible quality. I put "leather" in the title because even though the description claims this is leather...in real life the material is very hard and almost crunchy. There was a knick in the "leather" and beneath the top surface it appeared almost paper-like - almost like some kind of leather coating had been applied on top of some other material. I was very surprised that the stitching was so horribly uneven and it is definitely not a piece I wanted to keep considering the price and the very poor quality workmanship.
