When I received the filters

When I received the filters I had ordered I took one box and then took the one in the furnace out and tried one that was sent to me. It works perfect I took out the new one and put the one that was already in there back in the furnace

Shipping damage

The filters themselves were decent quality BUT the frames at 5" are very susceptible to damage from poor shipment boxes. Had both original and replacement shipments of 4 filters arrive damaged and unusable.

DAMAGED IN SHIPPING

3 of the 4 filters are damaged and need to be replaced. Can you please send a shipping label in order for me to return them to you? Also, could you please send me 3 new filters to replace the damaged filters?

These filters work in my Lennox furnace. The quality is good and have been buying filters from Filterbuy for 8 years.

I am very pleased with the filters Thank you. They last longer than the ones that came with our system. My only problem with the filters is our furnace is in the attic and I have to go up the ladder to put the filters in and I'm not the spring chicken I used to be. but I'll survive

Filters wrong size. Don’t fit.

Title says it all. They don’t fit. They aren’t 20x25x5. Too wide. Wil donate all of them. Worthless to me. Will never buy from them again.

Manufacturer specific fit

Fit perfectly for the Lennox unit. 25x20x5 has various actual measurements depending on brands. This fit perfectly.

Wished had gotten higher Merv

Wished had gotten higher Merv rating, outer box damaged but thankfully one 1 of the filters was slightly effective. Bought from here before & so far no major issues.

Wrong sizing

I purchased these 20x25x5 air filters, I wouldn't recommend them, the 20 and 5 are the correct sizes but when it comes to 25" it is more like 26", they are to long, I didn't realize it until I went to close the area where my dinner goes, I had to squish it on the top and bottom to make it fit. When I held it against my old filter it looked like it was the same size after I put it in and it didn't fit i checked the sizing again and it was off by an inch. I don't recommend purchasing these filters unless you have extra space to close your compartment where you're filter goes and also they don't have the foam seals on the tops and bottom to prevent extra air flow.

Problem Resolution

I have been purchasing the MERV 13 filters from Filter Buy for some time now. When opening the box, of a recent purchase, that the filters were shipped in, I noticed that there was (what I called minor) damage to the 2 filters. I was mistaken. After installing one of the "damaged" filters in my system I slowly started to notice that my "air handling" system was getting noisy. The level of noise got very bothersome especially at night when trying to fall asleep. The noise stopped when I put another filter into the system. Again, this was one of the damaged filters which had a "bent" edge on one corner. Initially it worked fine but then the system started to become noisy again. This filter only lasted 2 months before I had to replace it again. I had then put an order into Filter Buy to purchase 2 more filters. When they arrived, I opened the box and noticed that both filters had the same level of shipping damage as the previous filters did. I took pictures of the damage and sent them to Filter Buy via email. Filter Buy responded almost immediately and told me they were shipping me 2 replacement filters. The filters were delivered in roughly 2 days. After opening the box, I was pleased to find that there was no shipping damage. I was totally impressed by Filter Buy's responsiveness and willingness to make my purchase "whole". I will continue to purchase my filters from Filter Buy. The undamaged filters work great in my system.
