Well first off, the pan survived the rough treatment by the shipper, but the pan itself is beautiful! I was a bit apprehensive about using it because I have never had a pan that needs seasoning. But I sautéed some veggies and I am in heaven with how they turned out. Now I just need to find a good place to store it so that it remains free if dust and moisture.

Works as expected and easy to clean. We already had a smaller one and now have a big one too. It's huge.

Great size for large meals

Was pretty much nonstick straight out of the box! The first cook it needed a fair bit of oil, but the second cook my partner seasoned it lightly with flaxseed oil to smoking point (inside surface only) and then cooked fried eggs which didn’t stick! It’s a big pan and quite heavy, but great if you need to cook several things at once which we usually do. I’ve had the 26cm Lodge cast iron pan for years and love it, so this was a no-brainer to get the same brand in a larger size.

I seriously LOVE this pan. It's the best size for bulk meal preps and sears meat so beautifully. My steak game has leveled up like crazy

The skillet is very well constructed & of excellent quality. It was made in the USA. The weight & size are perfect. I look forward to using it for a very long time.

Love it wanted a great pan for roasting an it’s perfect as when I’m making gravy I can take to it and get all the good bits of without worrying about scratching it also holds the heat well wanted the French pan LaCrusoe however at 1/3 of the price am very happy and so is the Wife!

Awesome skillet

This is the mainstay of stovetop cooking. Just keep it seasoned. Don’t wash it with soap of any kind. Never put it in the dishwasher. Much superior to any other cast iron skillet. I’ve been using Lodge cast iron for 50 years.

Really good pan good for cooking was looking for a small Cast Iron Skillet. Most places had the large one and this one was just right. Only problem was the handle was not coated for heat resistance and you will need a pot holder for the handle. Otherwise good pan.

This is a perfect buy from Lodge. I lost my original, cast iron skillet, in my move. This arrived perfectly seasoned. I've already made corn bread and it turned out perfect.

Lodge Cast Iron Old School Tough built like a tank!

Absolutely love this pan it is such a piece of art and the nostalgia alone makes it worth much more than it is priced at. Will be buying more in the future and I guarantee this will eat most 500 dollar pans for breakfast. Get one, get 20 you will not be disappointed. USA made no foreign junk here.

A beautiful cast iron pan. I bought it as a gift and the recipient was over the moon with it. They have already tested it out and love it.

Smaller than I expected for a pan with a hook handle. It used to be that one with such a hook handle would have a 10.25 diameter cooking surface. Inner diameter of this one is 9.5”.

Perfect size

Like all cast iron skillets but only small and perfect for single morning breakfast use (as it was intended). Considering the much more expensive lid.

Not as expected

Good weight and quality, it was much too small for our family. The seller should have something comparable in size to show the actual size of the item, like an egg. It's not much bigger than an uncracked egg.
