I like the iron cookware because it’s been my personal preference for certain types of food I prepare. I wouldn’t, however, recommend this for beginners because it’s difficult to clean between the ridges, and all iron skillets of every type requires “seasoning” after every use and must never be put into dishwasher

Makes marinated meats and fish taste great with a chard grill flavor, I bought the lodge grate cleaner and chain mail scrubber to save& keep building seasoning layers. I highly recommend this type of skillet for added variation in cooking.
