Best Smart Switch and dimmer period

Excellent product easy to install and use. Simple and clear instructions. It can be used as a regular dimmer switch or a smart switch. It expands the possibilities or remote switch on/off, timer schedules etc. More importantly, it fits into regular rocker switch plates as well as the outlet boxes so you do not need any special wiring.

Lutron Caseta smart fan switch

I acquired a Lutron Caseta smart fan switch to automate a new fan I installed. As I currently have other Lutron Caseta switches this made the most sense. The installation is simple and works the fan from the switch or the app flawlessly. However I believe that these smart fan switches (and possibly others) only work successfully with fans using AC motors. Many of the newer fans use DC motors and also come with remote controls which seems to make the smart switch not work correctly. Make to check with your existing fan or new fan purchase.

The Caseta line is a great system for home automation. Pricey, but extremely reliable and classy looking. It works with Alexa allowing me to use simple voice commands to control lighting, fans both inside and outside. Simple installation and perfect for retrofitting along with options and instructions for single and three way switches - even if you don't have the wiring with the use of a Pico remote

Product worked as expected. This switch has a neutral leg. So depending how the current wiring situation is, you may not have a neutral in the switch box.

Works with Hunter Gallegos Fan

This switch is great and works with the Hunter Gallegos Fan (Hunter #51583). This fan comes with its own analog dial wall control so I thought that it would work with the fan.
