Lovely design, instructions could be improved

The design and overall function is lovely, but installation and pairing instructions could use some work as it is almost impossible to tell the steps that you need to do, and eventually you have to go online and locate the instructions

I'm an electrician by trade and have installed multiple smart lighting control systems. The Lutron Caseta Smart system is the best for homeowners being able to set up, program and use the system. Lutron invested in creating a very user friendly app.

Easy to use & program but is the highest priced option

Simple to program and use but quite a pricey setup for a fan to have a remote. $65 for the switch which you have to have in order for the $30 remote to work. Nice that it works with Alexa and Lutron app with an additional smart bridge ($80) that you have to purchase as well. $175 for a fan switch and remote to work with app. Other similar options to use a variable speed switch with a remote are around $50 for the switch & remote - won't work with alexa or app. Depends on what you need and how much you are willing to spend.

New Pico Fam Remote!!!

I purchased the Lutron Pico Remote and it was delivered just as expected, Brand New and within a reasonable time!

Pico wireless fan controller

The Lutron Pico fan remote works great! I use the remotes to turn on and off the fans from across the room from where the wired switches are located. Since I purchased two of these remotes for both of my fans I installed them using double sticky tape against my wall and a double white screwless outside protector to make it look like they are installed in an electrical box. They really look great!

Perfect way to add a switch to a more desirable location if you were to use it for remote purposes and not wall mount I would highly recommend getting the Lutron pedestal so you don’t lose it.
