Your ceiling should be really high for this light to look good
This is a high-quality fixture, no question. 3 lights can create plenty of illumination, great for large spaces with just one fixture. Installation is fiddly and requires 2 people. For that matter, changing a lightbulb will likely require two people as well, because getting the glass re-attached is not easy. But the most significant flaw is that the fixture does not look all that good when viewed from the side. The rim 1 3/4 in away from the ceiling. The unsightly arms that hold the rim are illuminated by the bulbs below them and can be seen really well. Visually, the rim is too thick relative to the light's diameter which adds to not-so-good side view. The only remedy I can think of is mounting this fixture on a very high ceiling or in a very narrow space. Then the viewing angle does not show the visual flaws. Less
Beautiful fixture and quality
The lighting fixture was a beautiful addition to our home. I like that you cannot see the bulb through the frosted glass. Also it is modern looking, but not overly modern. So it can update our old house but not look too mismatched.
Looks OK -- after tedious installation.
We installed the black version, #422753BK, over the course of two days and including a trip to the local hardware store. Approximately 6 hours, total, including puzzle time. Looks OK, once done. The hardware package included two 8x32x1½” machine screws, intended to be installed downwards through the mounting plate (screw head on top of the plate), fed through keyhole slots on the main frame, and locked in the key slots with “round balls.” These “round balls” are illustrated by squares in the installation diagram, and they turned out to be cylindrical plastic nuts with a screw slot on the closed end. The 1½” screws were not long enough; we weren’t able to compress the insulation enough to feed the screws through the keyhole slots. Attaching the “round balls” to the screw ends was out of the question.(We were hampered by not being able to work directly underneath the installation… over a countertop sink; we could only work from each side of the countertop. Total time also includes “I can’t reach it” and “We can’t compress it” time.)Trip to the hardware store, purchase two 8x32x3” machine screws and two #8 washers. Return home, detach the mounting plate from the ceiling. Remove the 1½” screws. We found it better to ignore the installation instructions for this. Instead, we inserted the 3” screws (with washers) upward through the main light frame keyhole slots -- and threaded the screws into the mounting plate from the “underneath” direction easier. Tightening the 3” machine screws from the bottom up compressed the insulation enough to make it a flush mount. (Assumes no obstruction in the electrical box for the extra screw length that has to go somewhere. The installation hardware package included two 6x32x2½” toggle bolts, neither mentioned nor illustrated in the instructions. We eventually came to suspect these might be for ceiling installations where there’s no electrical box. The package also included two 8x32x5/16” machine screws, neither mentioned nor illustrated in the instructions. We were not able to imagine their intended purpose. Trying to puzzle out what these two additional screw sets were for accounted for a significant amount of preparation time. Less
Super nice
I installed this on my daughters room. It looks very nice. It wasn't so easy to install. But i did figure it out and once done it looked very nice. It certainly brightens up the room. I highly recommend this to others.
Let there be light!
The Kichler Lytham 3 light flush mount in brushed nickel is easy to mount to the ceiling and provides an ample amount of light for our inside entranceway. The brushed nickel provides an aesthetically beautiful look to my entranceway and the satin etched white glass cover is not only beautiful but allows just the right amount of light for our entranceway. This light fixture is just the perfect addition to my high ceiling home and was easy to install and is stunning in the entranceway. I especially like that the light sits flush with the ceiling.
Very nice light fixture , tons of light output !
At first I was skeptical about the light output due to the fixture type and the frosted glass , this was for an elderly client that has sight issues so I wanted the best for her . Boy was I wrong ! Don’t judge a book by its cover , this light puts out tons of light

Beautiful Flush Mount Light
Absolutely love this modern flush mount light. Provides just the perfect amount of light for a portion of my kitchen that is dark due to seperation by a partial wall. This flush mount light is not only pretty but also very easy to install.
FANTASTIC!!
The Lytham 3 light flush mount Olde Bronze is made of high quality materials and has brought lots of bright light to a rather dim 1850's farm house. The flush mount makes this led light work well with both High and low ceilings. It looks fantastic and will brighten any home, and saving you money on your electric bill! Kichler always gets two thumbs up and 5 stars!
Very nice light!
I received this light as part of a sampling program. It looks very nice, was easy to install, and appears to be of good quality. I like the color and it gives off a good amount of light. I installed it in the stairwell that leads to my basement. I would recommend this light. Such an improvement over my old, builder grade tiny light.
