Screen door savior

My shelter dogs get so excited to go outside they tear at the screen door. These guards work great! I put one on both the inside and outside of my screen door. No more issues!

What I like about this grille is that it was shiny and white and adequately covered the width of the lower part of my very old storm door. I also like that it included the screws and that it fit various widths, although I wasn't excited about having to saw the extra bit of metal on the four ends. But I had the right saw, and it was easy enough. Also had to sand the sharp edges, but I had a sander, too, so no biggie. Unfortunately, the height of the grille came up quite a bit higher than just the lower part of the storm door, so it looks a little dumb the way it covers the glass partway. But it was cheaper than a new storm door.

The grille was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Heavy construction, but it wasn't quite wide enough to cover the entire screen. I had about a one inch gap on either side when installed. For my door, I had to bend the tabs down about 1/2" for the grille to mount to the door. All this to keep a nine-pound cat from picking the screen...

Size smaller than stated won’t fit 36" door

Not as wide as stated had to add brackets to fit door and heavy duty screen is narrow

Great Fit!

It was a perfect fit for covering our glass storm door! We did not have to cut it to size. Even the white paint matched the frame of the door. Now we don’t fear our German Shepherd crashing through the glass when she gets excited.

Works for what I needed it for

Easy to install but felt it was a little pricey. Wish it was expandable but it is good enough.

Not happy, misled by description

If yhos fits a 33 - 36 inch door than so should the screen protector. It works but not happy that part of mt screens are not protected completely

It may not fit your door.

Looks great but won't fit. I am going to have to return it if I can find the receipt.

Fix the door and save me from having to replace it

The product worked perfectly. It saved me from having to replace the screen door. I have a dog that jumps up on the door and the lower plate on the screen door was beginning to bend in and sooner or later it was going to go through and the door was going to be useless. This device solved that problem completely strengthen the door and allows me to continue using the old screen door.
