So far so good. Although the temperature in one of the zones is set to 39 but will consistently bounce between about 43 and 39 without the door ever opening.

Best Dual Zone Wine

Great unit! I've had mine for several years. Never had a problem. Keeps both zones cool at different temperatures; whites at 50 and reds at 60.

Great basic beverage frig.

I purchased this model 5 years ago for my office and we added a second one this year. They keep everything cold and there are 2 areas that can be different temp. zones. I did have to unplug the original one once to defrost but once defrosted it worked fine.

Only lasted a little over a year!

I purchased this unit and installed in a remodel. I continuously froze up, the temperatures were not accurate and at a year and 2 months it quit cooling all together. Magic Chef would only warranty the compressor. At the time I paid a little over $500 brand new and it was going to cost me $100 for someone to look at. So I decided to replace it.

Looking for a "Temporary" Fridge

Magic Chef fridges....in a word..."JUNK". Had one the Builder installed (New Construction), in less than a year it gradually stopped holding the lower temp as mentioned by another review. Builder replaced it @ no charge. 2nd one....same issue, didn't last 8 months. For the price....it's trash. Unless you like your bev's 45 degrees or higher don't waste your time/money.

DO NOT BUY. Will not last. Do your homework and read other reviews. Looks great but know for coolant leaks and/or poor compressor.

Stopped Getting to Lower Temps

We were originally excited about dual zones and value. We store beer at 36 degrees (lowest temp) on top and wine at 50 degrees in bottom. However after 2 years beer isn’t cold. So listen to reviews. This thing won’t last test of time, however if you are only storing wine, the degradation of temp wouldn’t be as significant of an impact....but beer at 40 degrees isn’t going to work....so have to buy a new unit only 2 years later.

This is a terrific refrig. It's stylish and it does what its description touts -- the temperature really does go down to 39 degrees. I'd buy it again without hesitation!

Love this unit. We can keep it hop in the tub and wine down below. The dual temperature control works great. Perfect fit for our cabin kitchen.

Listen to the reviews....don't do it

I was skeptical of the negative ratings and bought it anyways...mistake! Broke down after 1 year. They came and repaired it for free, but it broke down again after 8 additional months. What a joke.

Looked around and found this to be one of the best dual beverage centers available. I'm putting it in a beach/vacation home, so Ididn't need a full wine refrigerator, but wanted to have the option if we had some with us. The only reason I rated it a four star was I found it for less even when I took the coupon into consideration. Overstock did ship for free, so when I take that into consideration it's about a wash. If you have a truck and can swing by a big box home store, they may have a better priced option.
