This electric pasta machine is fantastic. I bought it for my nonna who is always making crostoli, cannoli shells and other pastry. She would always mention how labour intensive it became with her old manual machine, so when I saw this one on sale, I thought this might help her. She loves it! Similar settings to the manual version with the added bonus of the electric function.

A must for all families

For a first time user of an electric pasta machine it has been more than easy to use and my little family are loving having freshly made pasta. I would definitely recommend this machine for anyone wanting fresh homemade pasta

Money well spent

I have been using a manual pasta maker for years and finally bought this motorised machine - will never go back. Although loud it makes ravioli making so much easier. Can do everything all by myself instead of as a team because I never had enough hands.

Marcato Atlas Electric Pasta Machine

Absolutely happy with this purchase. After participating in an Italian cooking class in Milan, I was motivated to make my own fresh pasta back at home. After a lot of research I decided on this well known and recognised brand electric pasta machine. In fact it is identical to the one we used in Italy. Makes preparing your own fresh pasta a breeze!

It’s amazing other that the fact it makes a high pitch noise when turned on. Not ideal for someone with a hearing disorder.

Marcato pasta machines are great and I’d recommend them to anyone. I have owned three different brands of pasta machines over the years and it’s the Marcato that shone out quality and performance wise. Sounds counterintuitive for a relatively simple device but that’s just my experience. I have marked the quality down to 4 stars because I think the motor unit construction feels a bit fragile. Unproven but given the significant premium you pay to add a motor unit it just feels cheap. Also the reason for my 3 star value for money rating.

It works but is awkward

I knew this was overpriced when I ordered it but I didn’t expect it to have such a loud and clumsy motor set up. Very old technology. Surely we can do better by now. Delivery service from Myer was top notch as usual.

Amazing! Since I got this last week I've used it about every other day. it works great, is simple to use, and the motor attachment just makes it easy. I like that it comes with the handles if I want to crank the pasta out by hand. One of my best purchases. I know there are cheaper options out there but based on the research I did prior to buying, they are inferior from a build and quality perspective. I'd rather spend a little more and have it last longer.

Worked very well and cleaned well with a dry brush. A bit of a bother that they have put the power cord at the front of the motor-it can be awkward with flour/ingredients dropping everywhere.

The motor is a great improvement

The contents looked they had been repacked. It works a charm though, so much easier and quicker than with the handle. Unfortunately, unlike my old one, there was no cleaning brush.

I love this pasta machine, even though it was more expensive than similar brands. It is quite heavy, especially with the motor attached, and therefore very stable on my bench top. It is also very simple to operate, and the motor feeds the pasta through at an easily manageable speed. I am very glad I added the motor, as turning the handle could become tiresome, very quickly. It is a bit fiddly to clean, no water, just brushing away any leftover flour or dough with a small brush (but I think this applies to other brands as well). I now have friends pestering me for this yummy pasta - how good is that!

I just love this pasta machine. I am not actually using it for pasta dough but instead I am running clay sheets through.

I made the mistake of purchasing a manual pasta machine initially.... you really do need three hands to work it! We'd been eyeballing this one for a while but couldn't justify spending the money, until it went on sale! We couldn't get into our local store fast enough! Really is money well spent.... everything is so much easier and the recipe that comes with the book is ideal :) We won't be buying dried pasta any more

Review of Marcato Atlasmotor Pasta Machine

Great product. Only couple of minor things are to do with the way it clamps to work surfaces means that you have to have it with the motor facing towards you which makes it slightly awkward to use. If you use the manual handle it has to hang over the edge as the handle is too long to use any other way.

Atlas clay machine-Wonderful!

Beautiful machine, works like a charm. The noise scares me a little but am getting used to it. I did find the same machine on Amazon a little cheaper but am more than satisfied with mine. Now, if Walmart would just stock the premo and sculpy polymer clays that you have on the website, many crafters would be very pleased.
