Reviews
I can compare more comfortably than I used an affordable machine before, since the quality of the marcato atlas is as high as the material quality is. The roller part is already nice. The cutter rollers also cut very well, although the dough was not hard. There was no structure, no entanglement. The scraper combs under it do the heat well, in addition, they can be removed and washed (combs are plastic). In no time, we made corpse and corpse pasta.

Previously, I have shared a pasta machine with a friend. On several occasions, we enjoyed making pasta together. The most recent time I was motivated to purchase my own because with summer travel, my friends awesome machine was in my kitchen for much longer than it intended. Now that we each have our own, we can enjoy even making and serving to our families pasta the same night also, for this friend‘s recent birthday I purchased a pinwheel drying rack for long pieces of pasta. I have one too seems like a better idea than hanging on the back of wooden chairs around the breakfast counter. The quality of this machine is top-notch, a keeper!
Ooooo La ! Pasta Pasta Pasta
My French/Italian partner who LOVES cooking pasta was so excited when his surprise came in the mail. The amount of pasta hanging from our indoor clothes rack was unbelievable! The machine was great quality and the pasta was delicious. Stick a fork in me because I am done ! Now need to invest in a pasta drying rack 😂
Every house should have one
We bought a Marcato pasta machine after doing an Italian cooking class in the Yarra valley. It was the brand the teacher suggested and we are so pleased with it. It’s great quality, easy to use and makes delicious pasta. It arrived quickly which was great as we were super keen to get stuck in. We’ve had so much fun using it since it arrived.
Family pasta night spotlight!
I bought this for valentine's day for my 13 year old son. We have since have made pasta on numerous occasions as a family activity, the machine we purchased is easy to use and has created fun and lasting memories for us as well as building confidence and new skills in my kiddo. Super durable and easy to clean / assemble. Recipe included.
This machine is incredible! It's
This machine is incredible! It's setting are easy to adjust, the rollers are smooth and don't squeak, the clamp holds it steady with out any wiggling or movement whatsoever. It's easy to work with and beautiful to look at. It's elegance is only matched by its superior craftsmanship. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pasta machine!
Very sturdy, top quality
Very sturdy little machine. Works very well. Only used 3 times so far but loving it. Still feel weird about not being able to give it a good wash in hot soapy water (instructions say to brush/wipe it off only), but yeah, it feels very solid and sturdy. And the fresh pasta tastes so good, so much better than supermarket bought dry pasta
Great Machine
I bought a Marcato 150 off of Amazon four months ago and I fell apart. Something tells me it was a cheap knock off counterfeit. The Atlas 150 from Consiglio is much heavier and has a more sturdy feel.
Purchasing this pasta maker through
Purchasing this pasta maker through Consiglio's Kitchenware was very easy and the website was friendly and the pricing was the best anywhere. It arrived very promptly. The machine itself is sturdy, and quite straightforward. I have just finished my first batch of pasta! I wish there had been more information from the manufacturer about how to make the pasta - I had to do a lot of research online to get recipes and them directions. A brush for cleaning the blades would have been very useful - any that I had were not sturdy enough to work effectively. Overall the machine is what I expected and meets expectations. Consiglio's exceeded expectations and were prompt, follow up on-line was good and pricing was excellent. All round a good experience.
Well made quality machine
Great machine. The cutters look very well made. I have not tried it yet, but I have tried other machines and they don’t always cut the pasta into strips. These cutters look like they will do the job well. My sister has one and I have used her machine and it’s a well made quality machine. I am looking forward to using mine.
Smooth to use and easy to clean
Order this on a sale and I can tell you I would have gladly paid full price. It runs so smooth and is easy to clean. We have used this 5 times already and haven't had any issues yet. We had 2 pasta makers (different brands) previously and while researching for a news one, we read that the Atlas was the most recommended and can full agree it's the best pasta maker we have ever used.
Works well!
I was very suspicious of poor reviews of reviving a used pasta maker, missing parts, or not being able to return them, but mine arrived with all parts new. Works well with the fettuccine and tagliolini attachment, which is included. If your dough isn’t dry enough though, it will be difficult to get it through the smaller tagloilini cutter. The clamp also really helps with holding the machine still. The cutting attachment (fettuccine and tagloilini) has fallen off while I was using it though. It didn’t fall and hit the floor but did pop out of the brackets it sits in, so be careful with that. It was very easy to just pop it back in. Overall, a great purchase! I’ve used it at least five times now and it’s worked great each time. Have not cleaned it with soap and water, as there are warnings that it’ll rust, but I do wipe it off after each use and try to pick the dried dough out of the cutters with a toothpick after, but just sending new dough into the cutter afterwards just to clean it and pick up left over pieces is the better idea.
Fresh pasta with ease
Makes great pasta. Easy to use, love the green color. Lots of available accessories. My only issue is that the clamp is wide enough that it doesn't fit well with my countertop overhang/drawer faces. I have to use it on my island where my barstools are (much larger counter overhang!) to avoid interference from the cabinets. That's probably more of an issue with my kitchen design vs the product - only mentioning it for awareness.
I love this pasta maker.
I love this pasta maker. I have a kitchenaid with pasta attachments, and I have a Phillips extruding machine. But I have to say -- I like this the best and I do not use a motor. With hand cranking, if the pasta starts to get a little crooked it's easy to stop cranking and fix it. With Kitchenaid it's usually destroyed before I can intervene. Marcato has tons of attachments (and this is why I bought it in the first place). Kitchenaid has far fewer. I could not find a linquine attachment, for example, but Marcato has one. I recommend this machine. It's great.
Best Pasta Maker
There’s nothing better than homemade pasta. Once you’ve tried it, there’s no going back to store-bought dried pasta in a box. I’ve been searching for a high quality hand crank pasta maker for some time now and when I found the Atlas 150 at Crate and Barrel I thought it was too good to be true. But after purchasing and using it several times I have to say it’s the best pasta maker I’ve used. It completely fits my needs, is very durable and extremely high quality. There’s nothing flimsy about this pasta maker. I’ve made linguini, lasagna, and egg noodles and all have turned out perfectly. Don’t wasted your money on pasta makers from any other store.
Altas Pasta Maker 150mm
This takes pasta making to a whole new level in terms of time and ease. I use to roll it buy hand with took forever and some of the joy out of it (just too long) especially if I have other things to do around the house.
Great machine. Sturdy and easy
Great machine. Sturdy and easy to use. Great results.
Excellent for Our Small Kitchen
We've now used this pasta maker about 5 times, and we've been very pleased each time. The heft and quality of the craftmanship lets me trust it will be a viable tool for a very long time. The size is just right for most pasta we've made, including lasagna noodles. The crank moves smoothly through its rotation (be mindful to keep the crank pressed into the machine while rotating, since it is detachable and can fall from its hole when not in use or when not pressed firmly), and the clamp secures nicely to the edge of the counter.
Everyone loves Homemade pasta
The Marcato Atlas 150 pasta machine is a hand crank, well built pasta roller. The machine has settings from 0 (thickest) to 9 (thinnest) settings. It was super easy to set up and use, and my 9 year old keeps asking us to make more. The unit was new but the outer box was slightly damaged (as advertised). The inside unit was perfect with no marks and functions as advertised. I have made fresh pasta 5 times in 2 weeks since receiving the unit and am super happy. I also purchased separately two alternate cutters for Spaghetti and ravioli and they both attached easily and also worked as described. Overall a great addition to our family kitchen.
The Ferrari of Pasta Machines
We bought the Atlas 150 last month and the machine has truly upgraded our noodle game in the house. Not only did it elevate our dining experience for pasta, we were even able to venture out of our comfort zones and explore new cuisines with the machine (such as making handmade ramen noodles or wanton wrappers from scratch).
