Great faucet!

This faucet is great, looks good with the matt black cupboards and dark wood counter top - no leaks, the pull down spray functions just as it should. You do need to wipe it as it can show greasy fingerprints.

Fantastic sharp looking faucet that is truly flawless. Love it. Shipping was a lot faster than expected and faster that was estimated. Very pleased and happy with this purchase.

Pretty design but...

This faucet is beautiful but the handle never returns into its original position. You have to force it in. That is impractical because we use it when extended all the time and to have to force it back in is ridiculous. Looks pretty but poorly designed.

Magnet broke

Easy to install. However after less than a year, the magnet no longer worked on the pull out spray. The sprayer does not stay in the docked position and just hangs, looking broken with exposed hose. I should have spent a few more dollars on a higher quality brand, as I am forced to buy a new faucet that does not look broken. The plumber told me he sees this a lot with this brand.

Unfortuntately, in less than two years this faucet literally came undone. The water pressure is non-existent and the handle quickly became unscrewed/unglued and the threads are stripped. Now the handle is loose and wobbly with no way to fix it. It's embarrassing when people want to help with the dishes because although it looks great in our new kitchen, it feels so damn cheap and function leaves a lot to be desired. Really disappointed and now looking for a replacement.

Extremely disappointed

This is a beautiful product. Well made and modern but timeless design. However, after purchasing and paying for Handy installation I learned it -*does NOT* have a spray feature or magnetized pull down cap. I compared four faucets before buying this one and somehow overlooked that this one does not expand its spray which I thought was a standard feature on a kitchen faucet. I would return but then I’d have to pay another plumbing installation fee.

I've installed a number of Vigo products and usually recommend them to clients. However, this faucet is a big disappointment and will be returned. It is not up to the quality standard I am used to seeing with this brand.

Overall good faucet, the only problem I got is that it started leaking recently and it is from somewhere near the weight of the hose under the sink. But this is an acceptable worn issue compared to how much I have used this faucet. I would like to find a replacement hose, so I can remove the container from under the sink.

Prominent Rose Gold Vigo Logo

The design of this faucet is not reflected in the photo. I am very disappointed with this purchase and even more disappointed that I need to pay for return shipping to return this item. The Vigo logo is very prominent on the side of the faucet and is in a reflective rose gold. Otherwise the faucet design with the knurled edge is very nice. Quite disappointing and will make me hesitate to purchase from Overstock next time.

Beauty is only skin deep

This faucet looks great--clean modern lines, but that's where it ends. You can just tell the fabrication is cheap--the neck assembly wobbles a bit, the hose doesn't retract smoothly (you have to force it back up and then jiggle the nozzle back into the magnetic hold). The whole thing is a noticeable step down from the Delta faucets I have in my kitchen, and I highly doubt it could stand up to heavy regular use. Note, there is NO spray function (I knew this when I bought it.) Fortunately we just have it in a downstairs kitchenette that rarely gets used, so it's fine there and looks good. So fine if you want to put it in as a bar or kitchenette faucet, but I would never buy this for my main kitchen.

Terrible Quality

Purchased 1 year, 5 months ago. The product has been installed less than a year. The faucet hose is tangled and the head is difficult to reset in the housing. Worse still residue water from wet hands touching the handle has eroded something in the handle assemble making the handle very loose. With the support received after the warrantee period, you would think the Vigo expects you to replace your kitchen faucet every year. Steer clear of their products.

Bad Design!

First of all, I bought this product because of the overall great reviews. I wish I had read every review. Even some of the negative reviews still gave it a three star rating. I bought this faucet because it was sleek and simple. It is a beautiful faucet, but form follows function folks.

Perfect for our need--our application

Vigo presents an impressive product--packaging and instructions indicate thought and professionalism. We chose this faucet for its dimensions--we needed a taller faucet with a more vertical stream. Our old faucet angled too much toward the outside lip of the sink. We are more than pleased! Thinking about replacing our kitchen (and more frequently used) with this one for the same reason--a water flow that aims down toward the sink, not higher. We do not miss the spray mechanism--seems, for us, that was a habit easily broken. The strong stream does that job well. Our 4 star, rather than 5, is because it's not a glam faucet--instead, a trusted workhorse that more than meets expectations!

Can you love a faucet? YES!

Vigo really saved my kitchen renovation. Holes for faucet were too close to the sink. With Gramercy's reach, the water lands in the right place and not all over the room. love the stainless steel and the beautiful simplicity of Vigo's products. Last but not least, the heavy stainless pull down faucet. It's great and so unlike the light plastic spouts on most faucets So. yes, I'm in love.

This is a very nice looking faucet but it has a major decision flaw that renders it unusable. The pull-down sprayer must be twisted into place on the spout (rather than locking magnetically). This twisting motion causes the black nylon water hose to kink which reduces or totally stops water flow. This faucet worked for only a few weeks before we encountered this problem. I've sent several emails and spoken to Vigo on the phone about this problem and I provided pictures of the kinked hose. They offered to send a replacement part, although I expressed my concern that this would happen again immediately. Vigo sent the wrong replacement part - gray hot and cold water hoses, rather than the black hose (I don't think the black hose can be replaced without disassembling the entire faucet and it would need to be done by a professional). Vigo has refused to refund my money. I've attached the picture of the black hose kinked in 2 places below.

Beautiful, Quality, However Makes A Noise When I Pull Out the Faucet

Cons: The hose provided in the box wasn't long enough to install the faucet. Another hose needed to be purchased for install. Also, when I pull out the faucet, I can hear the counter weight smack against something. It is annoying. This was a common complaint I also read before purchasing this faucet.

Review Update: this faucet is still gorgeous but upon installation I learned it does not have a spray feature...what!?! That was so disappointing...what faucet doesn't spray nowadays. We proceeded w/the install in lieu of the delay, I wish it sprayed it works fine w/o it but would be much better with a sprayer!! My mistake, I should have played closer attention:( I'm not big on posting reviews, I should be better but wanted to share on this as I had agonized over the decisions for our kitchen remodel for so long. Original review: This faucet is gorgeous, even more so in person. It came beautifully packaged and we cannot wait for our countertops to be installed so we can also install the sink and faucet. I'll know more then about quality and usage but in terms of look it's beautiful! Shipping on everything that I have ordered from Overstock has been great. I receive regular updates and they have always been on time. I also get a notification upon delivery which I appreciate in case I'm not home and miss it.

This faucet is perfect! I live in a beautiful apartment but I am not wild about the kitchen. I decided to update the kitchen with this faucet, some similar drawer pulls for my cabinets and a clay beautiful pendant and wool braided runner from Overstock. The results have been amazing so far! My least favorite room may soon be my most favorite. I love the faucet so much that I am keeping the old faucet so I can take this one with me when I move -- it is far moe elegant and sturdy than the price would lead you to beleive!

Extremely well-made and beautiful

I was so surprised at how heavy, well-made, and beautiful this faucet is. There is so much attention to detail in the way it is made. The finish is beautiful and does not show water stains at all, which is surprising for anything with a black matte finish. We have had it for about a month and it looks like it did the day we installed it. It came beautifully packaged, well protected, and again was presented with a level of detail and care that I am not used to seeing. We have been renovating three houses over the last two years and I have seen many different fixtures from different companies such as Moen and Delta, and Vigo’s fixtures are superior in every way. They are not made with any cheap plastic, unlike their competitors, and our realistically at least 10 times as heavy. I recently received a fixture set from Delta in black matte, the finish was chipped, it was largely made of plastic, it was incredibly light, and it came in a little cardboard box with all the pieces thrown in together. There is no comparison to the way Vigo makes and presents its products. I do wish this pull down faucet had a sprayer option but it did not list that it had one and I incorrectly assumed that it did. However after having it for a month I haven’t really had an issue with it not having that feature. From this point forward I will only be buying Vigo fixtures, they are that superior to everything else. They are also reasonably priced, they tend to cost less than moen and Delta who can’t even compare in quality.

Have had this for 4 weeks. Neck is loose, and it rocks. It you tighten the neck screw to stop the rocking motion, the neck does not rotate. Vigo sent a replacement with the same problem. Waiting for this to be resolved, now they ask if it leaks, and the neck should have some "play." Seems like they are walking back from acknowledging the problem and responsibility to fix it. We shall see....
