Difficult to get excited about a toilet paper holder but this is the one! I have to order two more for to he other bathrooms. Whoever designed this, was really thinking straight!! No more spring loaded holders that are awkward to use and deteriorate quickly. This one the roll holder is like an arm. You just lift it up and replace the roll! Finally, functionality wins!

Would not recommend using with bead-board

In my opinion, this device has a design flaw -- namely, the bar-receiver-notch does not prevent the bar from sliding off if there is any wiggle on the pivoting-bar attachment. If you think there is going to be any wiggle with your attachment (i.e. I installed into bead-board with drywall anchors, but there was some slight wiggle), then do not purchase this product.

Not build well paper falls off

Love that this opens to the top. Makes it easy to put another roll on without having to fit the holder into two ends.

I like the holder. I could never have assembled it but it was no problem for the carpenters.
