I bought this for my sister-in-law because she said her existing Moen shower was a bit weak. This matches the Moen set she has and she says it has really made a difference for her and she loves it. It was an increase from 2.0 GPM to 2.5 GPM. No cheap at all but it solved her problem.

Ample water pressure

I replaced a Moen 200W0 Hydro Energetix 8 spray head that we’ve had about 12 or so years. Was finally getting to a point it would constantly get mildew no matter how often it was cleaned. That shower head is a 1.75 GPM and I had to modify it to get better pressure when I first installed it. I actually bought the exact same one to replace the old one and for some reason, it was super noisy. Couldn’t even hear the water hit the tub over the noise. I couldn’t take it and started looking for another shower head. Though a bit pricier, I settled on this model and glad I went with it. Super quiet and the 2.5 GPM is ample pressure without having to modify it. The only issue I had with this model was getting it to thread on. Yes, threads on goose neck pipe are in excellent condition and I put fresh teflon tape on them. The head only went on a few threads before tightening up and would leak from the threaded joint. I had to install 2 additional rubber washers and use a wrench to tighten it down enough where it wouldn’t leak. As others have mentioned, the adjuster to switch between sprays is stiff and requires 2 hands to adjust. Aside from those things, I am very pleased with this shower head and don’t mind only having 4 spray options over the 8 we had before as we never really used anything other than the standard spray.
