I bought a house recently with a York battery-powered keypad lock system. It failed, so I researched toward my own needs and this fit the bill 100%. Installation was easy! Just follow the directions and do it right, and you'll have no issues at all.

Weak Construction

I have bought and installed two of these and the cylinder broke off and slid out with the key on both of them within a couple of months. I have installed countless locks without this issue. I paid more money for an inferior product.

Not sure what you mean

It was fine, but the clerk that waited on me was a wonderful young man! He even went back to the front door to get me a cart I didn’t realize I would need one. He knew his job well and was fun to visit with!

I shopped everywhere, tried the big box stores, everything. They had the dealt bolt and the matching privacy door knob but NOT the passive knob. Wayfair had it all + the matching latches and hinges. All at one place and all arrived together.

Great quality and super easy to install. Love the convenience of being able to rekey whenever I like with no hassle. It's also convenient that you can also look on the bottom of the box to see what the lock is keyed to and if you're buying more than one you can buy them with the same key. Saved me from having to get keys made and easier when replacing multiple locks.

We use Kwikset for all of our doors because this company stands behind their products. Kwikset handles are guaranteed for life! We recently contacted Kwikset to replace several exterior handles near our pool (14 years old) that were showing signs of corrosion. Kwikset sent us replacement handles at no cost. We love that we can easily change this lock to match our other locks using the SmartKey mechanism.

I received this uptown deadbolt, smart lock to review. I never realized how beautiful, sleek a proper deadbolt lock could be. I know it seems a little silly, but I am truly impressed. Especially after changing out the old deadbolt lock. The lock smoothly engages when turning the lock. It is also easy to install.

The smooth circular design gives a distinctly modern appearance to the unit. However the interior thumb turn is offset of center so that when it is locked, it is lower toward the bottom of the unit and it is not my favorite look. It was a little difficult to install but it does work quite well and snug in place.

This deadbolt is sturdy and was easy to set up. The instructions lay out the steps nicely with illustrations and even show how to prepare the door prior to installation. The fact that this has Smartkey, so that this can easily be rekeyed is nice. The product comes with a spare Smartkey as well in case you lose one- which is a plus. Overall I'm happy with this product and how easy it made the process.
