Disappointing - It is not a match to the Baldwin Door Latches

I had ordered Baldwin front door hardware with matching secondary door hardware - with a keypad. I thought when I ordered this I could use the "rekey" feature to match the front and secondary door. But this lock does not match those keys at all. This key is smaller so you can not match it to the high end Baldwin Door latches and lock sets. Very Disappointing... I wish they had info on that on the website.

Easy to install, works with Yale August lock

I installed the Baldwin Prestige Spyglass Matte Black Single Cylinder Deadbolt, and it's both stylish and secure. The matte black finish looks modern, and the SmartKey feature made rekeying super easy. Installation was quick, and it feels solid and durable. These locks are great. They look very nice on the door and feel premium. I also love the fact that they have the smart re-key feature. They are not rated as high as the Shclage deadbolt in the same price range but I believe it will be work for what I need.

I am so pleased with my recent purchase of the Baldwin Soyglass Deadbolt. It is a nice heavy lock with a great feel and beautiful look. I would definitely recommend Baldwin to anyone in the future.

I received this item a while ago. Installed it on my door, and it does the job it was intended for. I would say it’s amazing, and I wouldn’t say it’s awful. It does it’s intended purpose. Would recommend to anybody looking for a lock.

Great deadbolt

Great deadbolt, seems heftier than some of the other similar-looking options. Two other things stood out: the ease of installation (into a previous deadbolt's location); and the convenient amount of options that come with it, mainly the latch shape and screw lengths. I have not tried to change the keyset via SmartKey so I can't comment.

It's extremely quick and easy to install. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and possibly the directions. It looks and feels well constructed. Two keys are included, along with a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty. It can be locked/unlocked from the inside knob or with the key on the outside.

I had my husband install this beautiful and unique deadbolt lock on our front door. It took him about 45 minutes to install and said it was quite simple. The hardware is quite heavy, and seems extremely sturdy and well made. The inside knob turns smoothly with no resistance. We did use the smart key to replace the included keys, not that it was necessary, we just really wanted to try the feature :) It was easy to do, and works perfectly! I feel much safer, and secure with this being installed on my entryway!

Ilthis lock looks beautiifu! A little odd seeing a swuare lock. My husband installed it on a outside absent door. He had a bit of trouble installing it, but that was human error.

Easy to install and I like the SmartKey option. This lock feels sturdy and appears to be very well constructed with well-fitted parts Very nice looking product and extremely pleased with the quality of the product. Very sturdy and functional. The satin nickel finish looks modern and a bit industrial. It seems to have a clear coat on it, too, so it doesn't show fingerprints or water spots. Baldwin is a fantastic brand.
