Was loose on our standard door, incl. spacer ring

This lock is beautiful, it works well, and we got it to fit, BUT we had issues. 1) Instructions are confusing w/ 2 models described in diagrams. 2) We needed MORE than the included spacer ring to fit snug against our standard size door thickness. We padded the indoor side of the lock's escutcheon with Best-Step Rug Pad. Worked, but gee whiz! AND, spacer ring was UNPAINTED--NOT the aged bronze lock color! Had to put black nail polish on the ring to make it blend in and look good! Beware.
