Schlage locks, are simply the best for the money we have installed different locks over the years and Schlage is still the best for the money. easy to install, easy to switch handing, just a great product.

Excellent replacement handles.

I love these. Look great. Feel great. Heavy weight. Easy to install, just six screws (I replaced 28 year old gold toned ones). You can reverse the handles to left or right. Keep the plate straight when screwing in. The handle curve is on the top, like shown in the picture.

Love these. I got the shiny chrome finish. Excellent quality, easy to install. Handles can be flipped to right or left. The curve DOES go on the top. Watch YouTube videos if you need help.

These door knobs have screw guides to make it super easy too install the two screws to secure the two halves. I have installed other door knobs that take forever to line up the screws to secure the two halves of the door knob body. If you look at the photo you can see this door knot has a two prong fork that skids over a protrusion lining up the two halves of the door knob body. With out this your poking your screw into an abyss inside the door knob whole. It can take some trial and error to get the screws to line up. With the forks on the door knob they line up automatically. Installing the screws takes seconds not 5 or 10 minutes of poking around trying to line things.

Okay so two things. First this item appears to be good as new not new. No significant issues all parts were there and was not scratched but.... The plastic bag had been cut open. Like I said not a big deal but may not have been entirely represented authentically. Second, this is not a handle that can be reversed. If you like the way the handle looks then you need a door that hindges on the left when facing the handle. If your door hinges on the right it will curve done not up. Also the third photo is wrong it has a push button lock on the inside (bathroom/bedroom side) and the first photo is correct as it has a hole with a pin "key" to push in the hole and release the lock. So not everything is as it appears but all in all it was what I wanted.

I ordered 3 of these (bed/bath) and 1 in this series with the keyed lock. I have not received the keyed handle yet but I expect it to be the same as these.

Easy to install, you can do it curve up or down. Reliable, sturdy and feels positive. One minor annoyance, and you will only notice this after using them a bit, is that you really need to rotate the handle almost 90 degrees to open the latch. While this does not sound like an issue, you wonder why it can't be made for 45 degree rotation only.

Nice update in our bathroom remodel. All of our faucets are black and I wanted hardware to match. Lowes and Home Depot didnt have any interior doorknobs in black, so we had to gamble buying online. Turned out they were great....not cheap or flimsy. Now I want to change all our doorknobs!

I like the weight and feel of these lever handles. Why not round handles? My old hands get slippery and it's hard to grip them. The levers are easy to open and operate. Push up or down then pull in or push out. It has a convenient push button lock for my master bathroom. I replaced all the old faded rusted pieces for this new set. This is what happens with kids around, they wear things out faster. It was easy to install, and I didn't look at the directions. Hope this will last until I retire lol.

I replaced all my lever interior door handles on my 10 year old home. These handles are top notch. All came in mint condition and ahead of schedule. It literally took me 10 minutes per door after the first one ??. They are quality handles that that should last even longer than the ones I took off. If you want a sharp looking lever handle that are easy to install and are top quality then I highly recommend these beautiful handles.

Changing bathroom to oil rubbed bronze (ORB) finish. Some products advertised as ORB are flat black. This door lever is an actual ORB. I've never installed a door handle before, and after scratching my head at a few of the images/directions I was able to complete without complaint. Just my inexperience slowing me down a little. Looks great!

We bought 2 of these locks for bathroom doors because they're easy to lock with a push button and unlock with the key provided. We got them to replace old, cheap Kwikset turn-lock handles that were hard to lock and VERY hard to unlock from the outside. For only a few dollars more, these are hefty, beautiful, and work perfectly. My mechanical skills and experience are very limited, but these locks were easy to install after reading the instructions and watching the online video. It was also easy to change the "handedness" following the video explanation.

I bought a house that was built in 1989 so had the shiny gold door handles. I couldn't get rid of them fast enough and these aged bronze levers look FANTASTIC ! ! ! It is also really nice to have a lever rather than a knob because if your hands are full you can open it by pressing down on the lever with your elbow. BIG thumbs up ! ! !

Perfect for my application except for...

I would have given it 5 stars but the installation was tricky. This door handle was perfect because I wanted the outside to be a different color than the inside. But even with the door properly shut, if the internal mechanisim got out of alignment (a little to one side), it would not retract the cylinder and you couldn't open the door. I solved this problem by: (1) realigning the stike plates so that the door shut easily, (2) installing a small screw inside the door hole, next to the mechanism, so that it couldn't get out of alignment. It works great, now.

Recently bought 5 of these Schlage Accent Levers - 3 Bed&Bath Privacy Levers and 2 Hallway/Closet Passage Levers and I must say that installation was nice and easy. Nicely made, love the grip and the smooth turning of the lever. Highly recommend these. Saw these at Home Depot but found that Home Essentials Direct offered the same product for several bucks cheaper so decided to purchase all 5 via Home Essentials Direct and I have no regrets.

This being a replacement for a broken one should tell you all you need to know about the quality of it. If it was made well it wouldn’t need to be replaced in the first place. I’ve had three of these go bad meaning they don’t lock anymore. The metal inside is brass and bends easily. If you put enough torque on the handle while locked the thin metal tabs inside will bend and the lock won’t work anymore. One caveat if you are buying one of these to replace a broken one is to buy the cheapest color and switch out the inside parts.

I was in the process of converting all of the fixtures in my condo from a brass finish to brushed nickel. I wanted to update to a modern look without going too soft nor too sharp on the edges. This family of handles provided the perfect balance of everything I was looking for! This was used for all of the interior doors in my place, the presentation was an ideal fit, and the handle holds sturdily. The finish of the handle keeps it from showing a lot scratches (particularly useful for high traffic doors) and the lever design makes it easy to use even when your hands are full. The handle can easily flip facing left or right depending on which way your door swings, and installation is literally done in less than 15 minutes! I installed the keyed version of this for the main entry door and could not be happier with how well the appearance of my entire place has transformed!

Pros: Easy to install Easy to open when you hands are full Look nice at first Cons: Toddlers can easily open a door they could not before My dog has figured out how to open a door if you can believe that. Biggest problem is the DURABILITY OF FINISH. These appear to not be actual oil rubbed bronze. Rather they are a coating over a copper colored base metal. In higher use areas this finish has chipped off exposing the copper colored base metal. I have other true oil rubbed bronze handles on my exterior door which also show a change in patina so I am familiar with what that looks like. This is not like that at all. It is an applied finish that is chipping off.

I can't say enough about the impact upgrading our old, outdated bright yellow door handles has had on our new home. But first, my impression of the locks themselves: Installation: Swapping out these locks couldn't have been simpler, requiring only the use of a screwdriver. I had concerns because I was replacing another brand of lock and a style that was much smaller (no back plate) but no matter. The Schlage locks fit perfectly where the previous lock was installed. Note...an electric screwdriver makes the task much easier! Product look and feel: Exactly what you'd expect...feels just right when installed, solid and quiet. The black color is clean, sharp, and appears to be very durable (unlike the bright yellow other brand which was already showing signs of wear.) Impact on the house: Like a great piece of jewelry, these door handles provided a "finishing touch" that quietly raises the bar for the rest of the house. Treat yourself and undertake this weekend upgrade.
