Love the fan. I wish this website had been more specific about the pull chain factor. There is no remote transmitter ALREADY iINSTALLED IN the fan assembly. . . so it ONLY operates with the pull chains. I had assumed I could buy a universal remote control to operate the speeds and light dimming. No. After I paid for the electrician to install the fan and light ("sold separately") I had to come back to 1STOP and order the $150 transmitter & receiver. I will be paying the electrician for another trip ($$) to take down the fan, install the transmitter so I can use the special remote. Not thrilled.

Slightly larger and a bit harder to install than expected, but got it installed and running in about 1 and 1/2 nrs. and very pleased with the results.

Our patio is 12’x24’. This 60” fan is supposed to work for a room bigger than that. Yet, unless we’re sitting practically right underneath it, we get no air movement from it. Disappointed.

Bought this fan to replace identical fan that had only been in service for a few months. Loved the appearance but the fan made a clicking noise we could not ignore or correct. The new fan makes a worse clicking sound. Back th will get returned this coming week.

We purchased three of these units for three outdoor patios, and are quite pleased with their look and their function. Even in Arizona, where it’s still 92 degrees several hours after sundown (September), we enjoy sitting outside, where the moving air (currently on a patio 23 x 10 feet) keeps us quite comfortable.

Fan meets all expectations

Searched for a large outdoor fan for Palapa. This fan meets our expectations and we will recommend it for others purchase. The only down side was that we had to order the down rod online as well since the ones in Hardware stores didn't work.
