Cracks

Sink was installed late August. There are four small chips in it already, despite using with the rack it comes with at all times and taking great care when handling dishes, pots on pans . Super disappointed to see it is chipping so soon

Beautiful but not durable

The sink is beautiful and I love the way it looks but after only a year and a half the finish has hairline cracks!! So disappointing!! Would not buy this sink again

Food just circles sink

1. When we try to spray food debris down the drain it just gets pushed from one side to the other. Food just sits on the bottom of the sink, gross! There isn't a sight slope to the drain so that food easily goes down.

Beautiful but as it is handmade the dimensions vary from side to side. Thankfully we are having custom cabinets made so he literally had to angle the sides of the cabinet to strange custom dimensions. If we had stock cabinets it wouldn't fit right. Also EXTREMELY heavy to the point of being impossible to move, installation will be fun.

I’m very excited to see this sink installed in a few weeks. Its beautiful. Rated a 4.5 out of 5 for quality according to my contractor. Arrived well packaged and out inside my door as requested.

Beautiful, substantial apron sink

The sink is quite beautiful, very substantial, but it had a chip in the bottom. I was told to call her call Krauss and they would replace it and I believe I am going to receive it in a couple of days.

I love the look of this sink. It’s beautiful! However, replacing our previous sink with this one was a challenge because it has a slant to the design. I would recommend having a cabinet person install rather than a plumber. We now have some trim work to do around the sink to make it look finished.

I really like this sink. It is heavy. 2 people to pick up. It was packaged really well, which is good, since whoever delivered it left it halfway down the driveway half upside down. Looks like they pushed it off the truck.

Its very, very heavy. Also does not come with a strainer. So far after installation it looks good though. If anything changes with the appearance, will post an update.

Product was packaged very safe, no issues/damage - paired it with the KRAUS VeriDrain which looks very nice. Sink does need good support but that was not an issue with the cabinet. Loved that it came with a bottom grid along with some additional plastic feet

Third time was the charm! Two previous orders came broken but even though the box on this one was delivered wide open and full of holes the sink was perfect. It is a beautiful and heavy piece and survived what looked like a ton of abuse during shipping and delivery.

My sink arrived and I made sure to inspect it prior to the delivery leaving my driveway. I had ordered a sink from another vendor other than Wayfair and had only inspected the top and later when I was ready for install found that was fractured on a bottom corner. First of all, this sink was packed extremely well. So it was able to withstand whatever the shippers threw at it. Secondly and most importantly, the sink is gorgeous. Every square inch is finished perfectly with a beautiful gleam that will be the showcase of my new kitchen. I’m very happy with the sink and can’t wait to finish the install.

Nice looking sink! Be sure to keep the wire screen in the base or you will have surface scratches. Requires occasional cleaning to keep it looking bright glossy white in the bottom but a magic eraser works perfectly for that.

The sink looks amazing! We are getting it installed right now in our kitchen reno. The bottom of the sink is not 100% straight. One side is slightly lifted underneath compared to the other side. The bottom of the farclay has a slight hump in the middle under the bottom of one side. I’m assuming when it was being manufactured but you can’t really notice it. When it got delivered to my home the delivery guy literally just pushed it out of his vehicle and onto our drive way told us it’s heavy and drove away. Thank goodness they package it really well I dont seem to see any damage to it but we shall see once it’s installed. I’m hoping everything is fine with it once we use it and has no leaks or hair line cracks due to the delivery driver pushing it out the vehicle and it landing on our drive way. It is REALLY heavy. The sink is beautiful, but the experience was not great....

The sink is beautiful, but the experience was not great. We had previously purchased a Rohl/Shaw farmhouse sink and loved it, but we moved and couldn't take the sink with us. I'm kind of wishing we had just spend the extra money now after having to deal with imperfections in the Kraus. We had the sink delivered (it is super heavy), and it was packed nicely and no problems with the shipment or delivery. We didn't inspect it initially - a mistake. The Kraus sink had a flaw in the surface on the front of the sink on the side we were using for the exposed front. Maybe no one would have noticed it, but I did and that all I would see if we installed it. At $800+, I expect better quality control. This was not normal casting variation, but a flaw in the glazing. We exchanged it for another. The replacement turns out to also have a flaw, also on the front face on side we have exposed. This time, its a black fleck that is embedded in the porcelain. I've been afraid to be too aggressive to see if can rub it out to fear damaging the surface, and so far have only used a magic eraser, but it fleck doesn't budge. Again, this demonstrates a lack of quality control and/or inspection. But we don't want to swap it again, and sticking with this one and living with it. Again, it's a nice looking sink, but be sure you inspect yours carefully before accepting it or before being outside of the return window. (Home Depot has changed their return policy and its much more restrictive with returns than in the past).

We just received our replacement. The first time we got the sink it showed up shattered in a bunch of pieces. Wayfair sent a replacement right away. This time it came intact.

We love our new sink. It is exactly as pictured. Our contractor’s team installed it. Because of the weight of the sink they had to install some extra bracing within the sink cabinet. I love the grid that comes with the sink to protect the bottom. The only thing to consider is that any time you clean out the sink you’ll need to lift up the grid to get little pieces of food, etc out from under it. The other thing is that you’ll need to make sure that the garbage disposal you buy is compatible with the thickness of the drain lip. We got an insinkerator that worked well with it. I would buy this sink again. It is roomy and makes doing dishes almost fun.

Great quality, solid farm sink and looks amazing. It was not in stock and had to be ordered but arrived packaged very well with no problems. Comes with the grid to protect the bottom of sink but does not include the drain as some other models that I feel should come with the sink as it was tough finding one my wife liked that fit as our Home Depot does not carry anything but the cheaper drains. Sink is reversible and we put the curved side out. All in all very satisfied.

I love my Kraus Farmhouse sink, I wish I would had it years ago. And not to mention the great price Home Depot had to offer, it cleans very easy and looks very nice and shiny, and OMG, the compliments I get is unbelievable. You will be happy you got it, and lots of room. Holidays are so nice now to know my sink can handle this. My niece and nephew ran out and got one and love it.
