Good replacement for older 4 cup Mr. Coffee

This carafe worked out well for our older 4 cup Mr. Coffee coffee maker. I liked the design of the original a little better but, when that one got broken, this is the only replacement I could find that was compatible. This one actually holds 5 cups, which is a nice little bonus, but it does not pour quite as well as the original though. When the pot is full, it is necessary to raise the lid and pour very slowly so the coffee ends up in your mug rather than all over the countertop. I'm a little concerned that the plastic handle has no metal band to secure it to the glass, it's just glued on. I can't help but wonder how long it's going to be before the handle separates from the carafe. Time will tell. We've been brewing several pots per day in this for almost two months now and, so far, it's holding up fine. I hope this review is helpful.

Great replacement carafe

Like that it had inserts that allowed carafe to fit a variety of coffee pots, including my 5 cup Mainstays pot. Its easy to clean. Usually hard to find replacement carafes that don't costmire than the cofee maker; so this was an exception to the rule. Affordable pricing and adjustable fit.Great value for money.

The manufacturer of my coffee maker did not offer a replacement carafe. This generic carafe worked perfectly with the spacer provided.

Good fit, although it has a couple options of add on pieces so it fits right. It's not as big as my original but you can't get that anywhere.

When I looked at it. Didn't like it and did not think it would work. First time trying it, did not work failure! Next day I tried it again this time I used the adapter that came with it. Clamp it on top of the lid and presto it worked great!

Good minimal carafe. Replaced ours that came with a small black %26 decker brewer that broke. It's low budget so some of the edges are rough (e.g. the corner of the lid opening mechanism can be sharp). But for the price, can't complain.
