I have run myMA-40 continuously for about 7 months or more and replaced the filter as needed. Having a 75 pound hound in the house and 2 cats (one long hair one short) the minimization of dust and dander is very noticeable especially when my hyper allergic siblings visit. I also have a significant less dust accumulating. Not only that but I burn wood in the winter so in the past there was a trifecta of soot, dust, dander and fur as well as pollen as I'm in a very, very rural area surrounded by farms crops and wild flowers and foliage that blooms year round in the summer months. The filters and units have greatly exceeded my expectations and I'd recommend one to anyone looking for an affordable means by which to improve indoor air quality. The filters are pricey but spread out over the 3-4 months they last, and the improvement they provide I've been sold and will continue to use this unit.
Need to follow through with sending it.
