Good safe

This safe is a good size for documents, jewelry, or handguns. I use it for important documents in case of fire. I lost everything in a house fire once and know how hard it is to replace things without identification. Its works great for my purpose. I wish I could have set my own combination but that's the only thing I dislike about it.

Fire & Water Proof.....ISH.

I am new to owning a safe. I am a bit disheartened to discover that if I anchor the safe through the bottom (as instructed and with the hardware included), the safe will no longer be water proof and that if I anchor it through the back (as warned against in the instructions, even with the included hardware), it will no longer be fire proof.....so any anchoring to keep it from getting stolen easily....negates either water or fire proof guarantees. Sad.

Low tech, old school that works.

I have had sentry safes for several years. I grew tired of trusting an electronic key pad that was prone to failure. I like the combination dial that does not have a battery to die and leave the safe permanently locked.

Product arrived dented and damaged

The product arrived damaged. Bought after reading so many reviews with damaged status, now I regret.

I wanted the combination instead of digital for extra security. Very happy

Excellent customer service

Having not had a safe before, I locked myself out accidentally. The techs who assisted me were very patient and efficient, resolving the problem I created. I appreciated their tips, and how they schooled me on proper procedures.

Nice safe good instructions on unlocking. Plenty of room. Works for us.

Very nice inner dimensions.

Very nice size for home or office. The inside dimension is large enough to fit large portfolio, binder, etc. comfortably without stuffing. For the price I am pleased. I have several different style Sentry safes. The one thing that can be an improvement would be the quality of the latching and dial mechanism.

Economical and it shows.

Nice, compact safe for valuables. I do not recommend it for hand guns as the space gets consumed quickly.

You probably won't

My new safe with the key and paperwork inside locked completely on delivery and despite getting a notarized form signed to allow SentrySafe to give me the combination code it would still not open. I was eventually advised to return it which I did last week.

Cheap Plastic dial and handle.

I was really disappointed after taking the time to open all the packaging. To only discover a cheap flimsy safe. The dial and handle are very cheap plastic. I tried to open the lock and the cheap plastic dial would almost get jammed. Considering I only had the safe for a few hours. No way I would trust this safe with important items seems like it would stop working. I do not recommend wasting your time.

Small damaged area to top of safe. Looked like someone tried to pry it open. Nothing major. Works well and I am happy with purchase.

All in all…as advertised!

It is pretty much as advertised and a good price!! I found it heavier than I expected, which is a good thing!! Wanted to bolt in down, but then I read that the “waterproof” feature will be annulled since drilling holes on bottom metal would allow water to seep in!! So… did not bolt it to floor!!

Perfect size

Nice size and easy to adjust with the tray. Also love the door pocket and the hooks.

Garbage, don't buy

Opened once to take out the key and stuff, tried again and it just stopped working. Piece of garbage. Would not trust it to hold any valuables

Dented upon receipt - awful quality

Awful quality - the product was damaged when I received it and now it’s too late to return. Crap!

The key sucks. The safe won't open when using dial. This is worthless
