Initially, the textured finished was unexpected. Possibly, I did not catch that notation in the online description. Nonetheless, I think the texture will be more forgiving to wear over the long haul, as opposed to a smooth finish which has greater susceptibility to scratches.

Design is very clean and sophisticated. It has plenty of half drilled knockouts(4) for add-ons like reverse osmosis faucet, soap dispenser, and sprayer. One side having an oversized bowl is very handy for large pots and skillets. It comes with both style brackets for a drop in or under counter mount style. My only concern was with the drain basins that come with it. They are mostly plastic except the threaded hub that accepts a plastic bolt. It installed fine and no leaks after 5 days. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Poor workmanship

The sink does look nice however here is my experience which was very frustrating. The sink arrived but it was missing all the mounting hardware, clips etc. I contacted Ruvati's customer service which sent me the replacement clips however only six clips were sent and the sink takes eight clips. I decided to go ahead and install. There are eight raised composite bars under the sink lip and each one has two holes drilled in which to attach the clips. The screws that are used to mount are extremely weak metal. The first one I screwed in the screw sheared off with very little effort, I mean if you look at them wrong they sheared off leaving the screw shaft embedded in the sink. I tried to screw in three of these and all three sheared off. I had to drill new holes and use my own screws to get the clips to mount. After THAT was done I installed the sink, the clips portions that grip to the countertop are very weak metal also and if you apply any pressure to them they bend. It took me FOUR hours to install this sink and a lot of headaches. I've installed probably at least ten sinks over my lifetime and know what I'm doing. Although the sink does look good it was not worth the frustration. It amazes me they would design a beautiful sink but fall short on the attachments. Would not recommend this sink. BTW this is the first negative review I've posted for any product, it was that bad of an experience.

Truly the best sink ever. Love it!!!

This was one of the best remodel purchase that I made for my kitchen. It truly stands out and looks amazing. I'm so very happy that I purchased this particular sink but most of all in black.
