My electrician had a hard time because the wiring on the fan didn’t come with longer options. He had to splice the wires and do it manually. Also the Dow rod didn’t have the correct holes to attach

It’s just the right length we need to extend our Mink Aire fan. Even though there are several finishes to choose from, we still could not get one to match the fan.

Works well

Since the minka aire fan I had did not have a surface mount option this was the next best option. Made for tight working quarters but works well and looks good.

This Minka Aire Oil Rubbed Bronze downrod appears to match our fan's base. It has yet to be installed in our vaulted ceiling, but I will update this review once I see how well it matches and maintains a sturdy hold on our fan.

Not quite what I wanted

It is just a downrod, I know, but it is gloss black and does not match the matte coal finish on the fan. We ordered a second identical fan from a competing store because they offer the matching coal rod.

Solid Down Rod

We are so excited about the 6 foot down rod. It was actually cheaper than the 5 foot rod most likely based on consistency of purchase. This down rod is sturdy, and though a little wobble is to be expected with high speeds and outdoor elements, this baby holds tightly!

These function as expected and we’re much cheaper with the Overstock coupon than the big box stores or ******. Our new home has very high ceilings and these were the perfect remedy.

This fan is the best deal for a modern quality fan! It moves a lot of air and had the best reviews out of all the modern fans and brands I researched. A friend of mine had this one at their house and I loved it so much I ended up purchasing myself and couldn't be happier!

Extending your fan in a loft

We needed a super long extension for a loft home. The fan needed a much longer pole and in a finish to compliment the fan. So glad these are available at the same place that has a fan.

3/4 Inch Diameter Downrod

This perfectly matches the Minka Aire WAVE ceiling fan with a brushed nickel finish. Since we're putting it in a room with a vaulted ceiling we needed a longer down rod. This does the job!

I ordered the Minka down rod to aid in the installation of my new ceiling fan. It matches the fan's finish perfectly, and because the fan is at the correct distance from the ceiling, the rod aids in proper proper air circulation. It's sturdy, and the fan doesn't wobble one bit.

Sleek fan that does the job.

This is a three blade fan that I used in a location where I wanted a fan, but did not want to make a statement. I wanted it to "go away". This fan does move the air as I wanted and it is low profile. The color is a cross between almost black and brown (and I could order a longer rod to match). It blends VERY WELL with my cedar ceiling with black beams. The fan basically disappears. The blades are plastic or vinyl but look good The fan is quiet.
