I really like this light. I think it is beautiful in my kitchen. It was tricky to install because the hanger bolts just were not long enough to penetrate the two layers of insulation. The insulation is necessary. I can see that it protects the ceiling and the interior light fixture from heat but I feel like the engineers or whoever haven't actually checked out the installation. However, they did include alternative drywall screws so I had to screw the light directly to the ceiling rather than hanging it from the bracket. Nevertheless, I do love this light. It allows three 60 watt LED bulbs and it makes it so much brighter in my used to be dark kitchen.
Love the lights. I purchased 2 for my upstairs hallway and they are exactly what I wanted.
Installed 3 of these in a hallway and they look great. The white exterior and champagne interior look nice. The shade simply rests on the glass and needs a little fiddling to center it, but looks good once all set. Be aware that a small ring of light shines upward against the ceiling. When shade is centered it is an even glow.
It is very elegant & the glass bottom casts a great glow on the gold medal interior & ceiling 3 lights brighten things up Great price & quality glass & painted metal. . My husband attempted using a shorter ladder & had to get a tall ladder right up at ceiling to install since the materials are substantial & heavy, . Very pleased.
