This soap dispenser looks great, but unfortunately the pump doesn’t work very well and there’s hardly any soap coming out. Very disappointing for a piece of such a high price.

Beauty Without Brains

This product is beautifully designed but that is all that it has to offer. I have replaced the pump and need to replace it again. Even on a good day this dispenser put out very little soap with a lot of effort. In addition the pump head easily detaches while pumping. Do I invest yet another $40 for a new pump or pitch the whole thing and purchase something not as beautiful but will be there for me always? I am cutting my losses.

Ordered For Restaurant

I ordered 2 of these for a new restaurant. Both installed correctly. The very same 1 keeps breaking every time the dispenser is filled w/soap & placed back in the holder.

Although the product looks attractive and is very sturdy the pump mechanism is lousy. You must pump several times to get sufficient soap to use at one time

Love this soap dispenser

This was exactly what I wanted; a well made mall-mounted soap dispenser that feels like it's going to last. Dispenses the soap cleanly without a mess. Easy to load. Installation was handled by our contractors during our reno, and it is heavy enough that I asked them to reinforce behind the wallboard with plywood as this is a fairly heavy unit. So I don't know if that counts as "easy" or "difficult" installation. But we're very happy with the product.

Недавно родители приобрели такой диспенсер для мыла. Довольны покупкой так как качество говорит само за себя. Есть модели подешевле, но лучше думаю взять один раз хорошую и нужную вещь. У родителей димпенсер стального цвета мне тоже больше этот цвет нравится. Время простого мыла давно ушло, пришло время жидкого мыла. Все таки жидкое мыло имеет очень большой ряд преимуществ, начиная от того, что оно не выпадает из рук и заканчивая тем, что оно не сушит кожу. Я доволен покупкой родителей.

I've been happy with several Hansgrohe items I bought for a bathroom remodeling project, including this. It was easy to mount on a tiled concrete wall and it sits solidly in it's heavy plated brass holder. The pump is plastic. Update: all three pumps failed in the first year. I have been unable to find replacement pumps to fit the 20mm container opening. I recommend Home Essentials Direct either sell replacement pumps or discontinue this item.

I absolutely adore Hansgrohe products and find that they are well worth the price tag. The rest of the items in S&E Accessories line are absolutely fantastic, but this dispenser is a disappointment because the top of the pump assembly is plastic with nickel plating. The glass insert and holder are of high quality and are absolutely inline with the tumbler and toilet brush holder. The flanges are good thickness metal and it does have brass mount (the whole fixture is of substantial weight as well), so it's a mystery to me why Hansgrohe decided to use plastic vs metal for the spout and pump ring. I had higher expectations when I was making this purchase, and had I not liked the rest of the assembly so much I would have passed on this.
