Bought this to install in a shower remodel for a client. A few other reviewers commented on the escutcheon being made of plastic, but once installed I don't see how it makes a difference. Plastic in this case is better than some sort of sheet metal which would lead to pitting of the surface eventually.
Beautiful and functional
We bought the Hansgrohe 15404 about 8 months ago when we remodeled our tub/shower. The plumber had no issues with the install, and it's worked very well to date. We love the elegant simplicity of its design.
