Well made light. My concern is removing the screws in the top because they are attached from the bottom of the hood.

This lamp fit in great with the updates to the house. It just fancy enough and the light output is more than sufficient.

Pier lights for a sitting wall

I purchased two Z-lite Portland 18" tall outdoor lantern pier mount light assemblies to mount on the piers at each end of our curved sitting wall. I have them wired into the existing 12 VAC landscape lighting. I used a 4 watt 12 VAC bulb for RV's that worked perfectly. The installation looks very nice and the light output is perfect, not too bright. The only negative about these lights is that the lantern base that the bulb socket mounts to is flimsy, so the whole lantern assembly to move about when pushed on or under high wind forces. The base plate for the bulb socket should be twice as thick so the lantern is more rigid.

Great light but does not have Dusk-to-Dawn feature

Overview on Lowe's website states the light has Dusk-to-Dawn feature but after installation I realized it didn't. I contacted Z-Lite and they confirmed none of their lights have that feature.

They look good but only fair quality.

I bought 3 of them at one time and found these issues. The glass sides are not sealed and when it rains water gets inside. in time I expect they will rust. Also where the light socket goes through the floor pan, it's a small fitting only causing the whole light to shake, even in a light wind.

I love all my outdoor Z-Lites.

This light looks great in front of our house. I used a Edison style bulb in it. Would highly recommend! Love this lamp post light, it matches with the lights on the house. Good quality, not cheap looking.
