I was looking for a solid brass faucet when I discovered the Monterey by American Standard. It is high quality with low water consumption. Everyone is pleased with the product. I put in at least 20 of them and I will continue to upgrade our campus with these faucets. I also like the grid strainers which are also solid brass and high quality.

Beware the plastic faucet.

When I needed a new faucet, I learned that many are now made of plastic. I bought one that was chrome. Chrome plated plastic. No way! The I found this solid metal one, which cost almost twice as much as my first choice, however it will last (and look better over time) vastly longer.

Good Price - Expect delays

Ordered 10 American standard faucets. Found Faucets Direct to be the best price. Although the item was "In Stock" and "Ships in 2-3 busiiness days" it did take 8-9 business days before they shipped. If not up againsts a near deadline for an item, I would order again. The price, free shipping and no tax made it worth my while.
