Missing parts

They shipped me a unit that had been opened and returned. It had missing parts, they hadn't bothered to check to see if it was a complete unit. Customer Service doesn't answer the phone, on hold for hours. Home Depot tried to help but after 30 minutes on the phone with them I was told that I had to contact the manufacturer directly.

This product came defective. It was installed by a licensed contractor. I was told I can’t return it it and I have to go through the manufacturer. To make a long story short I’m almost 2 months in and the manufacturer finally admits it defective and said I now have to deal with the warranty company, I’m dealing with this issue FROM A BRAND NEW ITEM!

Great System for the Price

We had this system installed a few months ago and are very happy with it. It is easy to control with the app and has kept our house at a comfortable temperature even in extreme heat. The only downside is that the installation process was a bit more difficult than we anticipated, but we were able to hire a professional to do it for us.

High-Quality Air Conditioner

The MRCOOL Advantage 3rd Gen 18K BTU is a high-quality air conditioner that has done a great job of keeping our house cool. It was easy enough to install on our own and the app is easy to use. Our only complaint is that it doesn't seem as durable as some other systems we've had in the past.

Leakage Detection Saved Us

We were skeptical about the leakage detection feature but it ended up saving our system. We received an alert about low coolant and were able to get it refilled before any damage was done. The only complaint we have is that it can be hard to program the sleep mode to our schedule.

Great Features, So-So Performance

We were excited about all the features that came with this system, especially the Leak Detection and Follow Me functions. However, we haven't been too impressed with its overall performance. It doesn't seem to cool down our space as quickly as other systems we've had.

Good Value Overall

This air conditioner and heat pump is a good value for the price. The installation kit made it easy for our contractor to install and we appreciate the corrosion-resistant condenser. While we don't use the digital assistant feature much, it is a nice bonus. The only downside is that the Follow Me function doesn't seem to work as well as we expected.

Compact and Convenient

This system is great for smaller spaces and it doesn't take up too much room. We really appreciate the sleep mode and auto restart functions and have found them to be useful. The only downside is that the app can be a bit slow to respond at times.

Highly Recommend for Server Room

We got this system specifically for our server room and it has worked perfectly. The low ambient cooling function has kept the room at a consistent temperature and we haven't had any issues so far. The app is also very convenient for controlling it remotely. Our only suggestion would be to provide more detailed installation instructions.

Smart and Efficient

We love that we can control this system from our phones and that it has a memory function for the louver position. It also runs very quietly and doesn't use too much energy. The only reason we didn't give it a higher rating is because the warranty could be longer.

Not only was our package late. The package was damaged. Tried to install and the unit was dead

Efficient unit

The 19 seer sold us on it. Much more effiecient compared to our last AC system, the saving are noticable on our bill

Works well

We were in dire need of a new AC system after our previous one gave out. This new one has not only met but exceeded our expectations, and the installation was surprisingly manageable.
