Privacy fence replacement

Had fence replaced and new hardware included. Looks great and works very well.

ornate, but not what i was hoping for

these are very substantial double strap hinges. excellent quality. but I wanted to use them to reattach a toy box or blanket chest lid. unfortunately the wood screws they provided are extremely long. I wish they would have provided two different sizes. the other thing is the openings for the screws on the hinge are large so that you will not be able to use other shorter screws without a washer. probably on a gate if you don't care that it protrudes through an inch or so that might be okay

Attractive gate hardware with great support

I very much like the streamlined appearance of these hinges. They provide the support needed to hold a fairly heavy gate but with a nice appearance. Care does need to be exercised when handling since the hinge bolts will fall out when the hinge is held upside down. Unfortunately I lost the hinge bolt from one hinge set in the deep grass of my back yard. Hope I don't find it with my lawnmower this spring.

Rebuilt my gate and added this hinge as part of the project. Not only does the hinge operate smoothly, it also is sturdy and easily handles my oversized wooden fence, which is six feet high and over four feet wide, and very heavy with 2x4 beans giving it structural support. The hinge also looks great and gives the gate a classic look.
