Great chairs just don’t match!

I like the wooden chairs and they are made well. However, I ordered a two pack and they were both supposed to be grey. I opened box and put first grey chair together and it was perfect. I open next box excited to put chair two together and it was a completely different color. It was oak. So now I have a mismatched set that I will have to paint myself. Thanks Walmart!

Good Chair for the Price

This chair is good, for the price. It is well made and went together relatively easily. It is not finely finished but there were not splinters. Directions good enough.

Not worth your time, money, or energy.

These chairs are not worth your time, money, or energy. These chairs are so challenging to put together. The wood has split on multiple pieces while trying to assemble. The predrilled holes don’t line up properly. At this point I wished I purchased plastic ones. I’ve spent close to 2 hours assembling ONE chair!

Straight fraud

Straight fraud. I placed an order for 2 chairs and received a single chair. This appears to have happened to other customers as well and now thinking this is intentional. The quality is also not great

Nice for the price!

These chairs get a solid 5 stars when considering the quality for price. They're not the heaviest/largest/sturdiest chairs, but for $65-$70 each, I'd say they're better than average and they look nice. I was looking for something that was either plastic or folding, as we don't have a lot of space to store these during the winter. The plastic chairs were all at least $150 each, so I went with these. PROS: - Straightforward to assemble if you're any good at putting together furniture. Half of my house comes from IKEA so these chairs weren't a problem for me to figure out. - Quite comfortable! The backrest to seat angle is perfect... you don't feel like you're too reclined back. - Slightly smaller than more bulky adirondak chairs. This was a perk for me, as I didn't want massive chairs taking up a ton of space on my patio. They're also failry lightweight, making them easy to move. - The espresso is a nice mid-tone brown. Not too dark, but different than the natural color. - They fold easily and compactly. CON: While not difficult, they are putzy to assemble. The first chair took 2 hours. The second took 1h 45 minutes. (I haven't found the time to put together the other 4 yet.) And again, I'm no novice when it comes to putting together furniture. I had an impact driver to help with the bazillion screws, but most of them needed to be hand tightened to be fully secured, and some take some muscle. I didn't have many issues with pilot holes not lining up (and when I did, it was my mistake), but they are small and sometimes hard to find. All in all, it's just putzy to put together. - The chairs will need to be sealed (and soon), as the wood is very porous feeling and will likely warp and/or fade quickly if left in the elements. Sealing will also keep the unfinished wood from snagging lighter fabrics, as I'm guessing it would if left undone. - Due to being smaller and having more areas of failure given that they're foldable, I wouldn't push the 250 lb weight limit much.

Good value

On the smaller side of adirondaks and for us that's just fine. The chair also has a more upright sitting position vs that fall in and lay back feel of many larger and deeper units. Fairly comfortable but cushions will fix that. Attractive color in brown, a stain type of finish, not paint-- nice! Details like the soft arch of the chair back and cut outs for the back of your legs on the seat front are a nice surprise for this value chair. The finish is a bit crude, so be warned against wearing delicate fabrics they will snag. But for rugged outdoor fire pitty nights they're great. Conveniently folds up to store away during storms or when you're away etc. Very fast shipping. All items in the box. Hubby assembled them with no problems. About 20 minutes or so, per chair. As a VALUE CHAIR this is 5 stars... But for: 1) the finish (which is completely acceptable for the use and value; and 2) Without time to see how well they hold up
