Nice solid construction. Nice in a location that needs a small light. You do need to use a small lightbulb in these or else you are lighting up only half of the light. A smaller bulb will sit in the center and provide even light.

Easy install. Not sure how long they’re going to last but at this very affordable price it wouldn’t be a problem replacing every few years.

Half Light

The placement of the bulb socket results in the bulb only lighting up one side of the light. Socket should be closer to one end so bulb ends up in the middle.

The light is very nice looking and works great for my purposes The only thing is that picture shows what I thought was a place to screw it to the wall at the top and bottom. It indeed does NOT have a place for that and so I had to ring a way to secure it. There was not a place above my door where I wanted it to go so I rewired it to have an inline switch which works great but again ...no way to secure it as shown in the photo

Great look, difficult install.

This is exactly the look I was going for in our cabin bunk room. We have moved a ton in our life, updating and changing out many light fixtures along the way. These fixtures were very frustrating! There is a gasket that needed continual adjusting in order to fit right. While we continued to adjust the gasket, we were in constant contact with the fiberglass insulation on the back of the fixture. We grumbled a ton as we fit them into place but at long last, they fit into place and look great.

BEWARE - ONLY HALF THE LIGHT WORKS

When you install this light - since the base of the bulb takes up an entire end of the fixture, you will ONLY HAVE LIGHT COMING OUT OF THE OTHER HALF. Frankly it looks really WEIRD when it is on because you get light out of one half of the glass - it's not very bright and looks like a light bulb is missing. Not a good product design. I'm stuck with them as I had them all installed, but wish I'd known this before I ordered them as I really don't like the way they look when turned on. The manufacturer says "its the product design" and there's nothing I can do to change it.

It's a little cheap feeling for the price for a single light but overall I'm very happy with it! It matches the style of the other lights I have and works great!
