It was good for 2.5 years

Unit arrived and the door was hanging off when unboxed. Unboxed correctly, cut the straps on outside and lifted box from top up. Noticed wires hanging from bottom of door that evidently operate the controls as none work after remounting the door. Unit looks nice, only positive things i can say

So far, so good! Arrived packaged well and early. Easy to unbox and set up - just plug in. Cooled down to desired temperatures really quickly (less than a hour). Looks sharp, isn't loud.

Macy’s has gone down the drain

Wouldn’t know Fed Ex delivered to a different address and of course conveniently is was sold by a 3rd party and on a 1 day Macy’s Sale so no money back yet and if I want a new one I have to pay $300 more cause the sale is over.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I ordered twice, and both were a disaster. The first arrived with a significant dent on the side. I scheduled a return pickup with UPS, but living in an area with security concerns, I requested UPS to call upon arrival so I could open door remotely. But UPS refused to call. I took a day off work to wait at home for the pickup. I then placed another order. However, when it arrived, I was shocked to find the door completely detached due to rusty screws, and the door itself was dented. DONT BUY!!!!

Happy with this purchase! Only wish the temperature lights can be dimmed.

Compressor has gone out

My unit stopped cooling and now has my wines at more than 70 degrees. Called customer service for troubleshooting and was told my compressor has likely gone out and needs replacing. The compressor is backordered for over a month. I read other reviews that mention they're replacement parts are on backorder. Seems like this might be a practice. I don't understand why they would not keep replacement parts in stock so that customers can get their items fixed as quickly as possible with less risk of ruining their wines.

Worked great for a month, then the compressor went out. The NewAir company is sending us a replacement. Stayed tuned to see how the new one lasts.

Really enjoy

This wine cooler is terrible. Anyone that has given it a high rating does not own wine. It only fits one size wine bottle that would be an extremely small and skinny bottle if you were to ever get 28 bottles in the fridge. You cannot fit Chardonnay, Champagne or Pinot bottles. You cannot fit a large (still 750ml) Cabernet bottles without jamming them in and taking the space of two bottle slots. Wish I knew this before taking out of the box and having to wait 24 hours before putting wine in there (specific WayFair instructions).

Love my Newair Freestanding 28 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Fridge!!! It arrived packaged extremely well; all was secure and nothing out of place. It has been a dream! Especially the dual zone temperatures for white & red wines are great! It has been working great! Fits perfectly in my kitchen and makes it convenient to get a bottle of wine. I had a question on the light; however, "Fern" with Newair answered my question immediately and gave exact details on the steps to make it work! perfect instructions and fixed the light asap!!! Thanks Fern!!! I definitely will be looking into other projects with Newair. They have been great!! Thank you!!!

Love the dual zones, looks great and does what it should. Only regret is not buying a larger one!

Unit not working after just 2 years, Error code F2. Not recommended

PIECE OF JUNK! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR WINE! I should’ve read all the other reviews stating that the fridge breaks quickly! Just over a year in and mine broke as well. Customer service at Newair is USELESS. They told me I can PURCHASE a replacement part in 6 months (they’re backed up because all the fridges are breaking!)

Nice fridge with ample storage - does have difficulty with wider bottles. Controls are odd and not intuitive.

[Rewarded Review] Stopped cooling after 2 years

Set two separate temperature for upper and lower sections 56 and 48 degrees; works well for the last 2 years, but it stopped cooling, temperature cannot go lower than 70 and 66 degrees

Read directions people!!

So far the cooler is working very well. I saw lots of photos on the site that show installations under counters and up against walls, BIG NO NO! Directions clearly that having 5 inches of clearance on all sides to prevent overheating. Read directions people! It also recommends a designated fuse for the cooler. I do not have this but put on a circuit that only has two lamps and one direct wired chandelier. So far no issues with all on.

Don’t like the fact the shelves do not slide out without falling out

This dual zone wine fridge works amazing. You are able to keep whites and reds at different temperatures.

The LED light in the wine cooler is still broken. I contacted customer service 12 days ago and was told a replacement light would be sent out. I’m still waiting for it to be delivered!!
