GREAT FLOOR LAMP - with dimmer switch ON THE POLE (that's hard to find anymore)

I ordered my first one from one seller & then picked up a second from another dealer. The lamp was first manufactured in the the early-2000s. I searched for a floor lamp like this one because I'm avoiding "integrated LED" stuff. The "Nina" is a classic, minimalist, well-made lamp that can light up a room with a 150 watt bulb. My lamps have 150 watt LED bulbs & when turned up all the way, my large room is too bright. The dimmer switch is effortless to get the correct amount of light though. There's NO buzzing sound or blinking of the light. Both lamps were securely delivered directly from the manufacturer in a huge box. It was simple to set it up on my own. I LOVE the dimmer on the pole!! Today's dimmable lamps have slider switch on th cord. I don't want a lamp that needs the cord exposed so you can dim a light. The Nina has the dimmer knob at just the right location to easily turn it on/off. It's a high quality lamp. I've read reviews suggesting a "wobble" at the base. That's NOT true. The underside of the base has a track for the cord to run through. If the cord is set correctly, no wobble. If I had the need for a third lamp, I'd order it. This older-design lamp may not be around too much longer. It is transitional style & can work in any space - large or small.

Very nice torchiere with a glass bowl; a simple design that can work with most decor schemes. It was packaged very well, and was easy to assemble. The dimming feature is a great addition.

This has been a really good lamp!

Quality, well made product, with a simple contemporary design. The base is strong and heavy enough to keep the lamp not to shake and the frame is strong and sturdy. I like the simple elegant dome, and it lights up the room very well.

I love this lamp I needed it to light up a room and it does I have dirt where I didn’t even know that was there.very nice heavy base quality is very nice not a cheap quality lamp but one to last years.if one had concerns give this a try you will love how it performs.i love that there is no big shade

Pretty nice Lamp

Overall pretty nice lamp. Have another larger style of this lamp that is high quality so bought this one. This one is not quite as nice. Great for corner or other area where you want light or ambient light without taking up much space. LOVE the dimmer switch on the pole (as opposed to on the cord). The glass shade could hook on better and of the two I ordered one has a slight hum when on somewhat irritating but not enough to go through the trouble of replacing.

Nice for tight spaces

The size is great. Makes a statement without being overwhelming. We bought two.

Slightly shorter than I expected but still a good tall height. Lovely white glass lampshade is minimal and modern. Metal pole is solid and straight. Very heavy base will prevent any accidental tipping.

Clean minimalist style, lots of light in little space.

This floor lamp is as pictured and is definitely sturdy. I don't know what I was expecting though, but every time I look at it, I think of how much money I wasted and could have gotten something similar from Target for $200 less. Save your pennies and skip this purchase.
