Once the shelves are filled with wine bottles, they are weighted down and can't be pulled out past the neck of the bottles. The sound is noticeable but not terrible. The 2 temperature zones seem to be working.

This fridge has been nothing but trouble from day 1. The temperatures fluctuated wildly in both zones.. Then it froze over in the back and we had to defrost it outside. Then it started beeping and showed LLL on the digital screen. We unplugged it and restarted it several times. From the beginning I got in touch with the customer support and they make you jump through hoops: send video, original receipt, etc. Now the holidays are here, with guests coming, and we have no wine fridge. This back and forth with customer support has been going on from July-Dec and they haven't offered to replace it or give me my money back!

Slow to cool and a little noisy, but is doing well so far.
